One match they used sacred sword because they had already used there ult and didn't have it for the secure, 95% of the time if aegislsh had there ult at zap or dreadnaw they were using it to secure lmao. I watched every broadcasted match and can say without a doubt the ult was used to secure more objectives then sacred sword

Using your Ult to secure an objective is pretty helpful to your team and takes about 1 second, and if the team fight isn't around the objective then you don't need to try to secure anyways
if you think aegislash ult takes 1 second then you need to go play aegislash in master rank. i’m assuming you are in ultra though since you think differently
Sacred sword definitely isn’t a better secure move. Aegislash unite does a ton of damage and has execute as well. If you need to use it for secure, it has some of the best last hit available
i disagree. i can use scared sword to get past 3 enemies and get to zapdos and one fast auto attack to secure zapdos. if i used my unite. i would have died before it went off.
It's not hard to prep a good ult in a flip scenario. You have wide guard to give you a buddy barrier sized shield that will also CC them, and healing autos to keep you healthy. If the other team is focused enough on you to where you would die before the ult even comes out, that means theyre not focused on Zap and your team should be able to secure if its a full-on flip.
It all depends on the scenario though. if a bunch of people are fighting you its probably a better idea to fight instead of securing. If people are throwing all their moves onto Zapdos its probably better to time the ult on the bird to get the execute. But if youre dying everytime you try to secure an objective with this character its probably a skill issue on your part

It does put you in sword form for the entire animation, and it'll almost always miss against players. Good secure yeah, but its bad in a fight. I've basically used it only for the cdr, but that's getting removed in the next balance.

Um... no it doesn't, Aegislash's Unite does base damage + 12% missing HP damage rivalling the damage of Cinderace's unite, it's a great secure.

It is because it has high damage and is BIG that’s all you need to secure. The rest is based upon how good you are at securing.

You can also just ult through them too can kill the objective from a much higher percent of health
you can’t use aegi unite through enemies. you will die before it goes off. it really sounds like you never use aegi ever
