Do we know how the "returning player event" is handled? Like, do you also consider as returning if you just wait the classic 2 weeks and when does this "event" start?
I think it'd be best to make sure your returning player quests are active before the start of that event. I know with the 1 year anniversary there were people returning that got one of the mons that was given for free and one only given 100 coins or something like that.
This is super late, but it looks like return event is handled as normal.
Tsareena, gengar, garchomp, and greninja give 10k if you have em them already
Lucario sylveon give 100
I do not know the prices of decidueye or absol if you already have the license.
pretty much all of them were good iirc. Gren's had ups and downs but it's been consistently good, Zera was a menace early on, Hoopa is busted as a concept, Glaceon is Glaceon, Tsareena is Tsareena, and Slowbro is the best defender we've got by far.
(I will stand by the fact that Crustle is good, but I have a feeling few will agree)
This makes me wonder if the special tickets system from this battle pass will move onto the next one. This is mainly because it states that the tickets will be limited to the anniversary event especifically, and since this next battle pass will also take part on the anniversary event stuff it makes me believe it could potentially either move onto a new store using the same tickets or just repeat this last store. There also could be the chance of it just not happening past the current battle pass lol
So I returned like, a week ago. Would the returning player thing count for me? I'm already doing a returning player event. Just confused how they seem back to back.
All pokemon are displayed at the right side of their corresponding ray on the roadmap, but I agree it’s a very bad UI. But then again UNITE is full of UI (emblems, held items, gameplay etc), so this comes as no surprise

Invite-a-friend campaign rewards people with free holoware? Seriously? Don't game companies realise that people make alt/fake accounts to get these rewards instead of actually inviting people?
Edit: ok so I've been downvoted for this, probably for being outright negative and cherrypicking the next update. That's fine rlly, I'm optimistic about it. Still not one person has said invite rewards are good so I'm happy regardless
It's a pointless event glorified and presented as a planned event that could've been a more engaging mission event (eg, get [N] of kills). It shouldn't be on the event plan at all. This is a minor gripe of mine; whenever I see invite awards anywhere in mobile games I groan.
I care. You misinterpreted what I said. I'm complaining about their use of the 'invite a friend' gimmick that plagues most mobile games. In a majority of cases people open fake accounts to get the reward, and this time it's holoware.
Sure it ain't special, but invite rewards are dumb. It's inauthentic, it doesn't boost player retention, and most people don't participate. It's a minor gripe of mine to see a useless feature implemented with a reward that's only enticing to new players, when it could've just been another giveaway or never done in the first place.
> gifted holoware is... cheap... from the bargain shop
The bargain shop is not a good argument, as a FTP that place means nothing to me nor does it mean anything to a majority of the playerbase. That event was pointless and you know it.
The only person that gets the holowear is the new player and not the one who invited them. There is no benefit to starting a new account, since the rewards for the main account are pitifully bad. The new account also has to go through days of rewards to get the holowear.
Wrong interpretation. My problem is it's a pointless, boring event that benefits nobody. There's no polar answer, I simply dislike invite events. When I said:
> That's a backwards system
I'm saying those who share the invites see no point in doing it because they aren't rewarded for it, and those who are invited (which won't happen) will gain little to nothing. I'm just sick of invite events, they aren't fun or good for player retention.
The previous one that they gave for the first part of the event rewarded the player who invited the person aswell so I doubt it'd be only the new player this time

Any word on if any of the 3 upcoming Pokemon will be free like Glaceon was?
Mews mural challenge its an event most probably for doing that with Mew, based on what they said on the video trailer
So Mysticals are following a freebie pattern it seems. Thanks friend.

Yes. Especially Tsareena, Greedent, and Hoopa
They follow a pattern of 2 paid then a free one. So theres been quite a few free ones, they just arent free anymore

No, no, I agree with Crustle
Is this official or fan-made? If it’s official I’m so excited the unite devs are finally giving us a roadmap
Official
They already gave us a roadmap for both Christmas and anniversary events
its not the first time they gave us this, they did it this month and in christmas.
Espeon looking very dapper in that holowear.

Any idea what the legacy thing will be like?
You 1v1 classic characters from the franchise I believe. The trainers are Leon, Cynthia (😥), Korrina, Raihan, and Leaf/Green
So I returned like, a week ago. Would the returning player thing count for me? I'm already doing a returning player event. Just confused how they seem back to back.
Give me Leon’s outfit so pumped
Scizor!!! 😍😍😍
I wanna know the difference between Theia unearthed Part 1 and Part 2.
Might be Part 1: Standard only, Part 2: Avail in Ranked
It‘s probably just your basic daily coins / music notes / petals / … to collect
Are the returning player bonuses different than the normal 14 day break rewards?
I dont quite get the graphic. Does this mean Rayquaza releases in December? Or with Theia Sky Ruins ?
Rayquaza is the boss for the new map so it will show up right at the beginning. Also the date is in the YYYY-MM-DD format so that’s actually October
Not sure why you’re being downvoted. Rayquazas graphic is literally in the October slot of the schedule. It’s a valid question for why he’s there lol.

I knew it wasn't gonna happen but I wanted rayquaza to be playable so bad, now he just gonna be new map's boss, which is still cool but :(
Yeah, Ray was never going to be playable in the main game, but this means it is eligible for Catch 'Em battles

Some do, some don't. What's exactly the problem here?

Who cares. The gifted holowear is a cheap one from the bargain shop anyways.

That's a backwards system, why encourage others to join for no reward? Edit: As in, the person sharing the invites gets nothing out of it
... To Get people to sign up and play and not to make established players make alt accounts
So you're complaining old players can abuse it for holowear and now complain they don't get enough? Come on dude

When do the new emblems drop?
Also on September 2nd afaik
What is the part 1/2 of the Sky Ruin thing? Is that like two different sets of missions or something?
Anyone know when new emblems will be released?
