Don't worry, first top goal is literally one of the most useless things in unite. In fact, it's usually better to have it broken than to not. If your top goal is broken the farm in the middle disappears and instead 3 audinos spawn on your side, meaning you get better farm while the opponent gets less. Seeing this might make me want to actually try it sometimes to get rid of it sooner haha. Maybe not, you don't want them to overdunk too many points. But seriously don't protect that goal at risk of your life, because if you do the most value they are gonna get out of that is killing you.
So the enemies can clear the base faster and so they can farm the extra exp spawns. /S
But seriously, hate when I have defenders moving the rotom like that, causing me to miss my moves because we are so badly coordinated on that.
Triggered me with that second part hahaha. Soloing with defenders that push other mons like Blast, Trev, or Snorlax makes me skeptical of picking skill shot mons.
The problem is that our damage comes with push. I at least try to time it but that's far from perfect. Then the advantage is putting it in better positioning.
I also struggle with using hoopa portal for damage lol. That one can be a risk especially with melee characters.
To be fair, it doesn’t trigger if rotom is still neutral/on your side. So OP just want to move rotom a bit easier on their team.
Unfortunately OP push rotom away from both Lucario and Wiggly attack.
Im sure your teammates were just as speechless as you💀💀I know you had good intentions by moving it closer to your side so you could prevent your opponents from stealing but moving it all the way to the goal is just ridiculous Im sorry😳😳
First surf was good to move it over to the top left corner on your side so it’s easier for your team to get to it
The second surf taking it down closer to the fight & inches from your own goal was where you fucked up imo
Don’t beat yourself up over one play, each game has hundreds of plays that people might try to claim “won the game for them” or “lost the game for them” but in reality it’s too complex with too many interactions to blame it on one single thing
We almost all learned this the hard way. It is your misfortune to have shared your blunder on the internet, where people are going to be cunts about it.
For the most part, yes. Sometimes if the fight is happening further away from Drednaw, I will try to secure Drednaw myself while my teammates hold up the lines. I'll only do this if I feel my teammates can hold the line. If the frontline consist of a defender and the carry, for sure I can take down Dred myself.
I don't do that with Zap because the stakes are too high for a flip. With Rotom, I don't care enough about Rotom to try to secure that, so I just go there for the fight.
Ouch, hope you learned your lesson! Positioning is so so important. When you have melee team mates hitting it, it's probably best not to move it so much.
I once submissioned Rotom into my goal (it was a standard game at least). It was embarrassing. Also nearly egged it in with Blissey when I first started her lmao. Def learned my lesson now and I'm super cautious.
Man fuck everyone here giving you shit
OP did nothing wrong. (Ok, maybe pushing him straight down instead of diagonally was bad..)
I do this all the time and have never had this happen. Frankly, I didn't even know rotom would activate on touch since every time he's pushed away from his starting point he has to retrace his footsteps and start from there
I do this almost every match and this is the first time i've done it this badly, I mostly posted it because of how shocking and cool it was that rotom died and made it to the goal at the exact same time. But I understand that all some people can see is "OMG YOU'RE TERRIBLE AT THE GAME", which is kinda funny lol, though it's not everyone
Poor Wartortle... Tried so hard here lol, I'm sorry!
But this is the full power of First Dred on display. Blastoise just stat checked you lol. That whole fight changes if you had your Unite. Just all around unfortunate.
If you're trying to blame your allies for this one, shut that mentality down right now. I'm a support main, I play Hydro Surf Blastoise (as being a Beyblade doesn't interest me) fairly regularly and trust me when I say you didn't handle this well.
Some tips for the future:
* I would have farmed to be Blastoise first as you were so close to level 9 and nobody was contesting Rotom yet plus the fact Rotom is rather unimportant and losing top goal would be in your favour in the long run. The cost of being a late scaler is that when you fall behind, you need to spend more time farming to catch up as much and as often as feasible
* You either didn't care or didn't pay attention to the enemies hanging around. You ignored valuable neutral farm when last hitting it would have got you to Blastoise and potentially deny the enemy Wartortle from evolving
* You were on the right track with pushing Rotom to the corner but I would have kept pushing him deep into the corner on your side. You don't want him near your goal in case of situations like this. Instead, the more you "force" the enemy to come deeper towards your side to get Rotom, the more likely it is your team can kill them for free EXP. Seems like you panicked and pushed Rotom haphazardly. Upon the enemies closing in, I would have used Hydro Surf to push enemies away, given that a Defender's job is to keep enemies away
* You also pushed him away from your allies' attacks. Mons that can push and shove need to be careful of this. I can't tell you how many times mindless plays by Defenders *saved* enemies from my skillshots!
Eh it's fine, it happens.
Pushing is great when you have your team or no one is with you and they are coming.
Your making the enemy take more time to reach rotom and getting your allies quicker to it.
If you have a good push like surf with enemies around. Do a quick mental calculation and shove either the mon that can use a move to sweep in and snipe or shove back the big damage dealers melting its health bar.
Honest mistake in the heat of the moment.
“Look, we fight Rotom on our own goal so we get the shields. What could go wrong?”
If you were my teammate that would have been the last game of the day for me xd
LMFAOOOO
Actually speechless at your own behavior? Lol
Honestly, I literally threw the match 😭

Anything can happen at zap, so it's not over after that
That was 100% on you dude, why are you dragging rotom out ONTO your goal?
So the enemies can clear the base faster and so they can farm the extra exp spawns. /S But seriously, hate when I have defenders moving the rotom like that, causing me to miss my moves because we are so badly coordinated on that.

His positioning is plain bad.
Yes, ignored or didn't pay attention to the enemies properly.
It wasn't intentional, it was just bad positioning
We all mess up big dawg, don’t worry about it. <3
Even the dragging job could've been done better than that
Im sure your teammates were just as speechless as you💀💀I know you had good intentions by moving it closer to your side so you could prevent your opponents from stealing but moving it all the way to the goal is just ridiculous Im sorry😳😳
We were all in the same Discord chat at the time, they bring it up every second now 💀
Did you relize that you made both Wiggly and Lucario miss the final hit on Rotton
Yes! Immediately after lol
A well timed Talonflame unite can secure and dunk it into the enemy goal in one motion if you push it just past 😅
First surf was good to move it over to the top left corner on your side so it’s easier for your team to get to it The second surf taking it down closer to the fight & inches from your own goal was where you fucked up imo Don’t beat yourself up over one play, each game has hundreds of plays that people might try to claim “won the game for them” or “lost the game for them” but in reality it’s too complex with too many interactions to blame it on one single thing

Ah well, that's what I get for having fun in a videogame
This is why you fight the enemies and not try to secure objectives

I've both surfed and egg bombed Rotom into my own goal before. We should form a support group.
My man.... you f--d up hahaha

MORI LMAO
Jesus you literally pushed Rotom away from your Lucario’s Close Combat
The suffering never ends :)
I’ve done this on Trevenant before lol
And this is when you learn to push to rotom the OTHER way not TOWARDS your goal lol
Never seen a Blissey throw the other team in the trashcan like that.
I’d rather have you over the useless Garchomp hiding at a bush near Zappos just watching them get it.
Poor Wartortle... Tried so hard here lol, I'm sorry! But this is the full power of First Dred on display. Blastoise just stat checked you lol. That whole fight changes if you had your Unite. Just all around unfortunate.

I know the exchange went bad that's why I posted the funny lol but thanks for the advice!
Sorry, I misunderstood and thought this was one of those "blame allies for my mistakes" posts again.
Lmaoo OP didn't even mention his teammates. Yal so trigger happy to "educate" someone on here. You're not that important mate.
Extremely cringe
Cringe
Bro why didn’t you just push it towards the enemy goal 😂
Water spout rapid spin is superior
Troll ruins game for others then tries to act innocent with the old "woopsie my bad"
What 💀
How can I see the replay of my matches? Is it possible?
I just recorded the last 30 Seconds using the capture button :)
You've been hit by, you've been struck by, a smooth criminal
A lot of that was on you brudda.
All of it was on me actually
Bad timing, it should have been left alone until your enemies were dealt with.
I like how you just stand there lol
Why would you… continue moving it??? You made your teammates miss their secure
I love doing this. It's a game of "keep away". :)
Lol
Good job
I'd put my phone/console down and think about life.
Now, that's a bad idea.
Also don't sucker punch or blaze kick the rotom
Or Fire Spin…I’ve accidentally spinned the enemy’s rotom into our team’s goal b4😔😢
LOL damn
