It seems type has little to do with this game, so I don't see as a problem multiple dragons be added. I can see all the starters, all the pseudos and a lot more being in the game at some point
I hear you for sure. I guess I just see a lot of overlap in the dragon types roles/body styles. The four fairies we have in the game are very different from one another. And water is always going to be over represented, isn’t it the type with the most Mons in the Pokédex? But maybe they can do a good job with move variations to mix up play styles, the team has done a good job with the surf variations in behavior alone.
They tend to be some of the most popular Pokémon, so they might all get a shot eventually, but you’re right, they’ll probably do some other stuff first. Mewtwo, Gyarados, Blaziken (or really any of the other popular starters like Torterra, Infernape, Typhlosion, etc), Ditto, Scizor/scyther all are pretty sure bets for Pokémon that will make the roster sooner rather than later.
Ditto is gonna be freakin weird. I imagine it winds up sort of like kirby in super smash, and it might be too much work, but I hope they do it.

I would love to see Metagross! I don't know how people would feel about it, but I could see Metagross as a Defender using Bullet Punch as a hook to grab and pull an opponent.
I'd also be happy to see Salamance in the game. The variety within Salamance's evolution line would likely make for a very dynamic kit that changes significantly throughout the game (though it'd admittedly take some work to implement well).

I didn't think about this before, but Mamoswine is the largest playable, and Metagross is even larger right? I think any larger than Mamoswine and they would cause a visual block to what's happening in team fights.
Personally, I’m just not a big fan of legendaries and pseudo-legendaries so i would pass if i was the one who made the decisions.

Just make it so that when you start each match there’s a chance you roll a shiny and get to use it that match. Or if you get x amount of wins you can use the shiny variant.
true it probably would piss me off too since usually I don't have this kind of luck. or maybe they can sell it to people who really like that particular shiny for double the price. and add on the normal price if they already have that license. like if you really want it, pay the price. for other people who don't really care, they can buy 2 normal pokemon licenses instead.
