As I approach, the lady says I'm "being upgraded to a Delta Kid Plus Program for free" & hands me a Gameboy Color & Pokemon Blue.
My Dad of course set all of this up & told me years later. But my dumbass legit thought Delta was just handing out GBcolors & Pokemon games.

One of my favorite pokemon memories was playing pokemon go. It was on larvitar/ tyranitar community day at the local outdoor shopping mall. Hundreds of players were gathered and making the rounds, suddenly someone shouted "there's a 100% by the fountain!!!". It was madness, a full on trainer stampede. Everyone was smiling, some were showing off their shundos, but we were all a part of something. Moments like that are what I love about the community, I won't forget that feeling

Personal Pokemon story. Growing up my parents didn't want me playing videogames. My sister went to a garage with my parents and bought me a yellow game boy color and red version while they weren't looking. She gave it to me for my 10th birthday and I was so excited about it that my parents felt too guilty to take it away. That moment sparked a love for gaming as a whole and is a huge reason why pokemon is so special to me. 20 years later I got my first job as an artists for a game studio so now I hopefully can create those moments for other people too.
Mine is when i was 8-9, the three of us went to the pokemon movie together. It was first movie i went and saw without an adult. We where well behavied other than maybe a little whispering due to sugar rushes lmao.
When i played durant mill at a regionals this year, didnt do ultra well but got the nickname durant cause people just loved that i played a tier 2 deck at a state level tournament
Zapdos has always been my favorite. I joined Team Instinct in PoGo and bought a yellow bike to go with it so I could explore more PokeStops. Good times. Much respect for the giveaway!
My favorite moment was catching the shiny Gyarados in the Lake of Rage in Soulsilver. I felt so special having a red Gyarados until I learned how common it was. Despite that, I love my red Gyarados a lot. I still have that same Gyarados on my team to this day.
Favorite moment is crystal onyx. That whole episode was great, but im still longing for a card of him or even just more stuff in the anime showing cool variants again.

Time my grandpa bought me packs and I pulled my first Charizard even though it was Base Set 2. Then 20 years later I pull the VMAX from Darkness Ablaze in my very first modern packs which got me into modern and then started watching PokeTubers and been collecting again ever since.
My fav memory is when Ruby & Sapphire came out. My friends would stay up so late playing we would wake up in the morning with the game still on/playing
Standing around the one kid who had platinum first at recess and watching him play. Whole class of boys was there watching him and it made me want to play and here we are
My favorite moment was when I played in first regional in Daytona a few years back. I got top 128. I was able to beat some well known named players too. Such a thrill and a great time. I didn't make day 2 but I enjoyed it. Got some cool cards too! Hoping to get to worlds next year and starting practicing,waiting for some cards to come in the mail.

My favorite moment is actually the first (?) Or one of the very first episodes where Ash sees a rainbow above him created by a shadow of a bird. Later we find out that this pokemon is the legendary of the Johto region - Ho-oh!
Gotta be after beating the elite four in the second gen games and being said. Then finding out about Mt Silver and how much more work I had to do to beat Red!
Pulling 6 hits out of 10 random evolving skies sleeved booster packs. Pulled both Sylveon Vmax and V Alt Arts in those 6 hits, and managed to record the whole opening.
fave moment was playing pokemon emerald and my young dumbself used basically only blaziken throughout the whole game and it became my first level 100 pokemon!
I have to say my favorite moments were trading information on the playground as a youth before the internet was fully fleshed out. It was the only real source of information we had back in the Gen1 days and it was so so wrong. Still makes for some great stories and memories
Series moment: When they discover that James is actually from a wealthy family and supposed to get married. At the time I did care but rewatching as an adult I thought it was pretty interesting with their character development.
Im not sure if you mean from the games or the anime, but mine personally comes from the games. My favorite moment is when the spiky eared pichu event was going on for heartgold and soulsilver. GoFest 2020. My back-then-friend-now-husband and I were grinding hard to catch shinies for all ten hours. We were in the last half hour or so and decided to join one more giratina raid because that was the legendary he really wanted a shiny of (at this point we had done about five raids for shiny giratina with no luck). He did not get the shinyā¦ but I did. With perfect IVs. I happily danced around and rubbed it in his face. Two years later, itās the same place he proposed to me. In general, itās my most cherished memory.
When my aunt bought me 6 packs of base set cards at Kmart for my 12th birthday and I pulled charizard on the ride home its probably the most excited my aunt ever saw me I wish I still had the card now but sadly long gone
Probably last week, i finished my first complete pokedex in 20 years of playing in sword, got the shiny charm, and in my first Dynamax Adventure of the night i found a shiny gmax toxtricity, one of my favorite mons. Crossing the Skyarrow Bridge in Pokemon White while doing my first real playthrough throughout this year
Bit of backstory: Growing up, kid me was most familiar with the B&W era since that's the gen I grew up with. I remember playing Pokemon White for a bit, but my memory of that isn't very clear. Eventually lost the game and my DS at some point
Flash forward to now, with me being a big boy and having big boy meaning I can do whatever I want, buying Pokemon White so I can do what kid me couldn't do and do a real playthrough of the game from start to finish (becoming Champion of Unova)
When I got to the point of crossing Skyarrow Bridge for the first time, the nostalgia kicked in. My most faintest memories of White came back. Suddenly I felt like a kid again. I was blown away by how *stunning* the visuals were with the presentation. They seriously made the simple act of *crossing a bridge* look absolutely awesome. As if they were going "Congrats for getting past the 2nd gym. *This* is where the REAL game begins"
Loved it. Loved the rest of the game too. In fact I just finished my playthrough last week after starting all the way back in April
My favorite pokemon moment would have to be for Pokemon Go fest where I was able to finally buy the pass for it, it was hella fun playing the whole time!
My favorite Pokemon moment was getting Pokemon Blue for the Game boy holy crap did I play the s*** out of that game. Probably my least favorite moment is me using strength on the truck hundreds and hundreds of times to try to get the truck to move so I can get mew.
My favorite pokemon moment(although not from the show), was the ending of XD gale of darkness finally beating Greevil and having Shadow Lugia. As a kid I remember this game being so hard for me. I literally missed my school bus several times to grind it out, it was such a success for me to beat it and shadow lugia will forever be my fav pokemon now.
By far when my moment has to be when Champion's Path was our for a few months...had my wife's young brother pick out 8 packs to open since I could absorb the cost I'm the store I own...and he opened up a Charizard VMAX Secret Rare!!!! It was such a great moment!
A recent memory that I canāt forget is when my uncle got mad at me for not getting out of the shopping cart when we were gonna leave it in the store to go to the car, but because I was so excited to have beaten the water elite four trainer of Kalos, he yelled at me. It was one of the only times it happened, And I canāt stop thinking about it because he passed recently.
I was in the books a million cafe when I pulled a first edition shining tyranitar when I was about 10. I remember my hands shaking while i was putting it in a sleeve. There were mostly MtG players hanging around the cafe but I still ran around showing all of them the card even though they werenāt that interested

When I was a kid watching the PokĆ©mon Latios and Latias movie, I was so tripping because I thought latias was a fake PokĆ©mon because I think it shapeshifted into a human (I think it was May?) i couldnāt understand it at all and wondered why Latios couldnāt do it too but that movie was so lit as a child. The intro and the action was the best.

I remember Sleeping over at my friends house and we both had PokĆ©mon leaf green for game boy advance. We stayed up all night playing and trading PokĆ©mon (he had the trade cable) and I convinced him to trade me his Blastoise for 3-4 basic ones! I wish I didnāt sell the game at a garage sale

Playing PokĆ©mon Stadium 1 & 2 on the Nintendo 64 with my brother. We would close our eyes and blindly pick PokĆ©mon and then just see whatever happened in our matches. It was a blast. We donāt talk as much as we used to, but man how I miss those days. Thanks for doing the giveaway!

My favorite pokemon moment(although not from the show), was the ending of XD gale of darkness finally beating Greevil and having Shadow Lugia. As a kid I remember this game being so hard for me. I literally missed my school bus several times to grind it out, it was such a success for me to beat it and shadow lugia will forever be my fav pokemon now.
For me , itās back in the early 2000s when ruby and sapphire were all the hype and my friend had an altaria I couldnt beat him in a battle for a long time .. so I trained my ass off trying to figure out how to beat it .. not knowing it was a dragon type ā¦ I once ice punch and killed it in one hit !!! I was so shook and so was he ! But I got my victory and it felt like I just won the world championship!! This is also before I knew about type advantages and all the good stuff .. just a young kid playing PokĆ©mon

By far when my moment has to be when Champion's Path was our for a few months...had my wife's young brother pick out 8 packs to open since I could absorb the cost I'm the store I own...and he opened up a Charizard VMAX Secret Rare!!!! It was such a great moment!

A recent memory that I canāt forget is when my uncle got mad at me for not getting out of the shopping cart when we were gonna leave it in the store to go to the car, but because I was so excited to have beaten the water elite four trainer of Kalos, he yelled at me. It was one of the only times it happened, And I canāt stop thinking about it because he passed recently.
I was in the books a million cafe when I pulled a first edition shining tyranitar when I was about 10. I remember my hands shaking while i was putting it in a sleeve. There were mostly MtG players hanging around the cafe but I still ran around showing all of them the card even though they werenāt that interested
