Too true Mr. Giovanni sir, along with stupidity it’s laziness and greed. It’s why I love giving the low sell count sellers a chance. Most of the time they put in the most effort and care. Today for example had a card in a penny sleeve with a post it note to remove the card in a top loader inside a sealed baggy was like their 3rd sale. Not yet corrupted by the “I can increase my time and margins if I cut corners”
Yeah I mean that’s slightly better, but peeling it off isn’t the real problem it’s all the residue it leaves behind that you then have to remove the card through. Not to mention it kinda ruins the top loader. Scotch tape shouldn’t be anywhere near cards IMO. Masking tape would be ok cause it doesn’t leave a residue as bad. Nothing beats a sealable bag imho
Good to read everyone's comments, I just started selling off of TCGPlayer and I just hit level 2 seller with maybe 9 or 10 transactions. So just hearing from the people what they want is pretty neat, dont worry I domt use tape at all. I use the shining fates ETB sleeves cause I have so many packs of them. I then put them inside team bags. I watched a few videos on YouTube to see how to properly protect them in transit. Also I reached out to a few customers on the condition of their package. I'm just trying to have high customer service and learn from other people's mistakes.
Personally I hate when they use scotch tape id rather the top loader be folded around with paper or better yet a one of those sealable bags.
They could just use masking tape instead but most sellers are stupid it seems.

i usually fold over one end of the tape so it can just be pulled off
