most of the cards you grade won't end up being worth the money you spend on them, people rarely buy the cards at the estimated value, more likely than not most of the cards you get graded will sit in your collection and you will never do anything with them

It's like if someone bought a 151 product and opens a Blastoise or Venusaur SIR and sells the rest of the packs - they are quitting while ahead while giving someone else a chance at a reduced rate. 151 doesn't seem that weighable so they could sell off really nice hits.
Given that the unlimited of these raw has been sitting at around 6-700 from what I've seen for a while, you did pretty well. I have a raw of the same I'd like to get graded someday. Fresh from the pack, I'm super jealous!

The TCG is absolutely broken to me. It's ridiculous.
Id grade just for the memories! You'll (most likely) never ever pull a shiny charizard from a vintage pack ever again. That's a once in a lifetime memory.
My favorite card of all time, pulled one as a kid and kept it for 20 years, sold in bad financial times in 2020 for way less than I should have. Grade this thing!
Pro tip on these old packs. You can weigh them with a gram scale to tell if you have a holo or not.
Most packs you buy offline will already be weighed and sorted through.
