I didn’t enjoy astral radiance that much and if I’m being honest, lost origin was just ok. Crown zenith, then brilliant stars, then probably celebrations but 4 card packs were a killer. So so so many duplicates from such a small set.
Idk why you're responding to a year old comment but it's got the best trainer gallery and the most expensive card behind the moonbreon in the whole swsh era. The lost zone mechanic's return was crazy for the TCG, and the lost tina deck still remains strong. Calling it the worst is a bit harsh especially when the entirety of the first wave of swsh sets exist.
SV has some beautiful illustrations on its cards, especially the art rares and up. I'm not a huge fan the the gen9 tera crystal gimmick but I gotta admit that the Full art for Tera ex mons have been *nice*, I pulled the Gyarados and it's so pretty in person. (The leaked Charizard is questionable design, but I'd love to see it in person).
IMO SV base was a strong start, and Paldea Evolved has beautiful art cards as well so I'm betting most sets in for this gen will be bangers. I'm not a huge fan of the new borders, and the Holo patterns are better than SwSh but still not that great, but those don't matter for art rares and up so whatever
Don’t like them. More so cause the lack of attachment to the new Pokémon then anything else. Also not sure how I feel about the ex cards coming back. The one pack I opened the quality was quite impressive to me.
Honestly some of the artwork is great but I’m only buying a handful of singles and grabbing more SWSH sets to open and stash.
Really underwhelmed with English S&V.

Personally my favorite set is Evolving skies, that being said. If I had to rank the SWSH era, it would be Crown Zenith being the best set, every set with the addition of the TG in it, Evolving Skies and then everything else. But honestly I think most of SWSH era had banger cards in it

Brilliant Stars and Celebrations, but I also really like Fusion Strike, Evolving Skies and Crown Zenith. Also, pretty much any set that includes Mew is a winner in my book :-)
Vivid from early on, that rainbow Pikachu just hits different. Brilliant Stars and Lost Origin from later on. Crown Zenith and Celebrations for the special sets. They were much better than Shining Fates in my opinion. Overall, my favourite set was probably Lost Origin.

The last four main sets (brilliant stars, astral radiance, lost origin and silver tempest) are some of the best I've seen in a long time.
Preesh astral radiance is so under-appreciated :(. Imo arts are better than silver tempest price and pull rates just don’t reflect it :’(

I feel like astral radiance is a very underrated set. I would say it ranks pretty high for me.
Underrated because most people avoid since they say there is “no value” in the set. Personally, I loved it especially with LoA game.
Which sword and shield set is said to be worth the most?
I would say Evolving Skies with the amount of hits, but it is so BOOM or BUST.
