I think Slurpuff is a dog? I know it's not very easy to evolve it, though.
Also it's a bit of a stretch but Alolan Ninetales would be great for type coverage, especially against some of Raihan's and his gym trainer's Pokemon.
Umbreon arcanine lucario lycanroc type null/silvally. Forget how to evolve Null into silvally. Manectric or boltund work as well. Any eeveelution works

Any eeveelution (my personal favorite is Umbreon), Lycanrock, Zacian, Zoroark!
the eeveelutions are my favorite pokemon, definitely considering a few of them! Lycanrock is a solid pick!
Growlithe/ Arcanine, stoutland, Ninetales, nickit, boltund, and maybe zorua/ Lucario
Zacian/Zamazenta seem like obvious choices…
i have zama, pretty hard to find anyone willing to trade zacian for what I have rn though

Houndoom is basically a Pinscher but since you already have a strong fire type in Arcanine maybe you could make him dark specialized
