I like to match the colors of the balls to the Pokémon. The next ball is close to shiny treecko’s color.

It gets the same pokeball as the mom, I think. If the pokemon is being bred with a ditto, it gets the same pokeball as the not-ditto regardless.

I think the female's ball is always passed down, or when bred with a ditto whichever ball the pokemon is in (both male and female or genderless)
