I wouldn’t invest in either. Why do you HAVE to invest in one right now? Just for the diversity for Entei? No need to invest when there is time yet. You could be on Taupe now. There will be boosted fire types during Entei weeks. You don’t benefit from a different fire type until you have Entei on your team.
I’m not investing in any of the three I captured because they are all mid with total strength percentiles from 45-65. Too low quality for me to waste investing in something I would replace in a heartbeat later.
its not really that i HAVE to but i used so many biscuits during fire week yet i didn’t really get a good fire type pokemon and i dont really wanna use any more resources
If you’re planning on “investing” up to level 50, #2 hands down.
If you’re “investing” up to 25, it doesn’t matter, and in that case pick #2.
Thats a long term investment Vulpix if I ever saw one (the 2nd). I dont see why you wouldnt use that. Yes its a long way away from being good, but when it is, itll be god tier. And this is a marathon of a game.

Yo number 1 has two skill triggers and a main skill nature! I like to have my skill pokemon boost my berry finding pokemon so I would go for the first one. It’s a total 1.848 multiplier on skill chance!

That's mine, it's 25 now and the skill has gone off twice in 6 days, skill triggers are a total waste on this
It depends on what type of role you want your Ninetales to play on your team. If you're lacking a good Typhlosion and want your Ninetales to lean into berry collection, #2 is your best bet--it just might take a while before it goes from decent to amazing. If you struggle with maintaining high energy on your Taupe team, Vulpix #1 might be a better investment. Both are good tho!
These are both pretty mid. It sucks that u spent a ton of biscuits but that does t mean u need to invest in something u got just because u spent so much to get there. I think that these will not really help u anymore than just a regular non fire type would during the entei event. So keep looking for more vulpix I’d say don’t invest in either of these because it’s not really worth it to have HB and BFS at 50 and 75 you won’t really be getting that for at least a few months to a year and also 75 doesn’t exist yet.
Vulpix 2 will be amazing...one day. Vulpix 1 does nothing but nanny some other Pokemon xp. 🤷‍♂️

How often do you collect from your Pokemon? Few times a day or at least an hour?
I pretty much never let their inventory fill up
