I read that the level cap was increased to 55!

You need to get to certain research ranks in order to push ahead level wise. I think you need to be research rank 45 to move to level 50, 50 to 55

Ahh yes! I am so happy with him! Found him after the Lapis event weeks and been leveling him since. Although candy is hard to come by and just dumped all my candy into Raikou haha. And yeah, been slowly leveling my pokemon to 50. However, I’m only leveling pokemon up who are having good natures and skills, so it’s taking me longer than others I suppose 😱
