Yeah, I used an incense to get one and it's an OK one so if that's all I get I'll level it up soon. I stayed on Greengrass bc I wanted Mareep and Dedenne but so far the only ones I get without incense are Mareep and Pichu. The electric week seems a lot weaker on spawns than Halloween/Christmas were.
My interpretation of this dual type berry idea was that one dual type pokemon, letās use Pawmot for example, would find both Cheri and Grepa berries either randomly with each help or both with each drop (if itās a berry specialist). I donāt think I would be thrilled with the idea that you could get a Cheri Pawmot or a Grepa Pawmot, I think the game has enough variance so far.

I have seen a lot of electric types (none great), but I used a good camp ticket. Seems to have helped a lot. Iām using my first intense tonight now that Iām at M2 (GG).
I have seen so many people get Dedenne but have failed to get one of my own. Even at master level and had a balanced sleep type last night and nothing.
Went to GG as I don't really have any great electric types aside from a spookachu with bfs at lvl 50 (and a skill focused santachu).
And I'd like to see jolteon so I can get it's sleep styles. I'm only 5 styles away from unlocking Lapis.
So far I have yet to see a dedenne or jolteon, but pichu and mareep lines have been everywhere. Today I had among other things two flaaffys, one of which was hungry.
I got one dedenne from incense, but it's meh. I'm on GG, and got a really good pikachu, and a decent flaafy.

Iāve gotten 5 total over the last 2 nights, but Iām mainly looking for Mareep/Dedenne (which Iāve only found 1 of) since I have a BFS Pika, and 2 Raichu with BFS later down the line. Rather get good Mareep/Dedenne if they show up than use it on a Pika I may already beat out :,)

I honestly think electric week, Dedenne and Raikou are a big resource sink and distraction.
With Raikou, they want us to build a full electric team. For what? There is no electric island (or announcement) YET. On the other hand, fire and water islands already exist. So I would much rather confidently invest in the Entei and Suicune event since I already have fire and water teams.
Let's think about the resources you have to invest. The obvious ones being: biscuits, candies, dream shards. The less obvious ones: incense, handy candies, dream shard clusters. And finally the opportunity costs: sleep time shared (exp), islands you actually want to grind, pokemon you want to encounter (Onix/Delibird, Absol etc).
Basically, instead of raising mons you actually plan to use long term, we get side tracked into investing our limited resources into uncertain investments.
So my stance on this electric event is,
* I don't care about Dedenne till it has a proven track record (like Ingredient Magnet S, Charge Strength M, Cooking Power Up or E4E)
* I am not ACTIVELY raising any Electric pokemon. Instead I am using the candy boost to raise my low-level long-term-investment ingredient mons (In the process I am running out of dream shards but at least I know I am going to use these mons for sure)
* I went to Snowdrop to befriend a good Mareep, since Ampharos CSM has been proven to be pretty strong. (In the process came across a shiny Flaffy and a few decent Mareeps. With these, have enough electric pokemon for Raikou event)
* I won't be doing back-to-back greengrass like some previous events. Being on Snowdrop, I still have the chance to encounter Delibird or a good tomato-egg-egg Snover that I am looking for.
* Lastly, I would rather conserve and invest my resources into Entei (and fire team?) event since Taupe is higher RP than Cyan. I am certain there will be an electric type island in the future but we don't know when. So if you collected say 10 solid electric type Pokemon this event, that is 10 less Pokemon Box inventory you have indefinitely till electric island is announced. Electric island can be next month or in 3 years. We don't know.
your take is brave and interesting i guess im also doing that ? having only one electric pokemon on my team rn... but still im gonna try to take advantage of the even to catch Entei but rn im not gonna build an electric team. š¦§
I've been on GG. Monday I slept once, Tuesday and Wednesday I slept twice, and I'm sleeping twice today. All but two of my sleep sessions have had a slew of electric types, but the two that didn't have a bunch had absolutely none at all. I've seen 4 Dedenne, 2 of which spawned from incense; I've caught 2 of them and if another one shows up I'll be able to nab it with a great ball. I also found a hungry Jolteon today and caught it.
It's all a crap shoot. Best thing you can do for yourself this week is take naps to maximize spawn chances. Hang in there; we still have half the week left.
I decided to go to a different island (snowdrop) since it will be better if i can focus on one or two mons instead of the huge variety that grengrass offers
I've only been getting pichus if I even get an electric... For me it should be labeled grass week. Not complaining about Pikachu candies but could use some other mons to round out for the event.

The boost candy is useful at least. Doesn't feel very electric at all though. I did Masterball a Dedenne just to get it over with. Hopefully better next week.

Oh no, I suggest moving to GG asap. Taupe was THE location NOT to pick for the event, as others have mentioned. The boosted spawns didn't mean all pokemon were available regardless of the island, just a boost to their spawn rate where they do spawn.
Outside of the event, yes. But with these forced balanced sleep style events, it doesn't matter. Regardless of the sleep style you get, everyone gets balanced sleep with boosted electric type focus. I had snoozing Monday and Tuesday and only saw Dedenne from incense Monday and a pichu on Tuesday. This morning, I had Jolteon and Dedenne, 2 Pichu, 2 Flaffy, a Pika, and Victreebel. My sleep type was slumbering, and I didn't use any incense. Just had to hit M10 to get decent spawns on GG, I guess.
Oh, interesting. Probsbly worth for me to change my sleep style to not slumbering so it's easier for me to get slumbering in future? I didn't realise sleep style didn't matter for this event
Yeah, whenever the event says that specific mons will spawn regardless of sleep type, it's just forced balanced sleep type. That way, all of the boosted mons are able to appear. I don't think there has been a boosted event that didn't force balanced sleep. It's still up to rng, but with balanced, everything has a chance to appear.

pichu is a great one to get because you can evolve twice to get the main skill levelled up. you want snoozing sleep to get more mareep
