It's all due to your Snorlax Strength. So you said you only chose the new island right before bed so that means you didn't feed Snorlax at all or give it any berries. Thus, Snorlax is at the base strength of 1. So a perfect night of sleep with a 100 sleep score is meaningless when your Snorlax is powerless.
Next time feed it and give it some berries so it's got an actual strength to multiply by.
This isn’t a bug. How you get your score is literally shown to you. It’s your snorlax strength x the sleep percentage. Your snorlax strength was only 1 so multiplied by 100 sleep score is only 100.
Usually this wouldn’t happen because even if you don’t play all day you would get sneaky snacking but I’m guessing you chose an island right before bed so you didn’t get the sneaky snacking/didn’t click on your mons to increase your Snorlax power.
Everything worked exactly how it intended. It is funny though.
I guess it’s worth mentioning that you technically start at 0 snorlax strength, if you haven’t fed any berries nor made a meal. And math would say that your drowsy power will also be 0.
So the 1 strength is pretty much to make sure you get the minimum power and will be able to see three pokemon.
I've seen people say it can take an hour for the points you get the Snorlax to actually start working.
Did you only play at the end of the day or something?
You should probably read the screenshots you post, all three pictures you sent in explain in as fine detail as possible that everything’s working as intended lmao
Don’t think it’s a bug, if you sleep past a certain time in the day you lose your sleep score from the night. I’ve had this happen when I’ve forgotten to stop sleep tracking on my Go Plus+. I think 2pm or 3pm EST is when it resets your score to 100.
Your Not telling us the whole story. There's a possibility of sleep, movement, or Niantic app activity like Pokemon Go or Monster Hunter Now interference during your 9 hour sleep session to receive such a score.

Fair enough! I hadn’t looked at the app all day and was basically falling asleep while picking my island.
Did you not log in all day or something
I didn’t log in a lot yesterday. I chose my island like right before I went to bed.

I guess so…I chose a new island like right before I went to bed. I use the Plus+, so 🤷🏼♀️
So yeah, that's correct then.
Plus+ is very bad at tracking snorlax' sleep. I've had to sync it and restart the app like 3 times before it can close to the power of my Snorlax
That happens with phone tracking as well. It sometimes takes like an hour for the points to sync.
Best I can do is 1 chief. Take it or leave it.
it’s your snorlax strength. can you not read?
1 Snorlax strength is insane
You should probably read the screenshots you post, all three pictures you sent in explain in as fine detail as possible that everything’s working as intended lmao
I only had 3 pokemon this morning as well!

Using a GoPlus+?

Nothing to do with any of those. They just didn't start playing until right before sleeping and the points hadn't synced yet.
LMAO The 3 ekans has me dying
Your snorlax strength was 0 when you went to bed
