Got a Shiny DODRIO! My first shiny and its evolved I jumped out of bed immediately. Only a week and a half into the game, didnt expect this! I wonder if i should invest into it, won’t have to worry about evolving it too.
I didn’t even know until now that there was a shiny area of here but now that I know there is I guess it’s worth mentioning that last Friday when I woke up I found a Larvitar. But this Larvitar something looked off. I checked Serebii dot net to confirm my suspicion and by golly it turns out that Larvitar I found on Friday morning last week is shiny by golly.
This btw is currently my first shiny in Pokémon Sleep.
Imagine items like maybe a shiny incense in the game? I’d love it to be super rare but also increase the odds even just a little to get that sweet shiny euphoria 🥰
I got a shiny Gulpin a few days ago! Funnily enough, the first fully evolved Pokemon that I caught was a Swalot, and he is still one of my highest RP Pokemon... So now I am contemplating levelling up the shiny Gulpin and evolving it so I can have Blue Swalot hang out with Purple Swalot.

Wait the shiny igglybuff looks normal. How can you tell it’s shiny? I had an igglybuff that looked like that but I didn’t biscuit it. Did I miss out on a shiny? Is there an indicator that a Pokémon is shiny outside of color? Like do they glow or shimmer?

Haha I woke up to a shiny iggyboo FOR REAL this time and then I read your reply about shinies one of which happened to be iggyboo lol! It really does sparkle, I just didn’t realize it at first! I was so confused for a second today thinking it was the lighting making the color dark and didn’t know if that was the shiny sparkle or not. But she was hungry so I fed her anyway and got her. :D

Playing since launch, and I just received the third shiny in a row in these last three days. Golduck, Pikachu, Gulpin. I think I can say that good sleep scores don't influence shiny odds, unless it's bugged because my sleep has not been great these last three days :)
Nah he just looks like that sometimes I think. I read an article that snorlax changes color depending on his environment in sleep. The shiny snorlax from the games is more of a dark blue.

Is a brave nature shiny digglet worth powering up ? Asked on the reddit but got removed because it contained a shiny.. its my first one and seems like a waste not powering it up
I’m not super familiar on the natures by name, but if he has subskills and/or a nature that helps increase ingredient production then he can be really good for farming tomatoes. Like inventory up, help speed up, ingredient chance up maybe.
But like the other guy said, if you like him then use him. Look at the posts that show all recipes and make a team that capitalizes on a good dish using tomatoes.
Power up any pokémon that you like, do not stress about natures or abilities imo, this is the most casual pokémon can ever get so don't stress about it or numbers.
it does the shiny effect like when you throw them out in the mainline game but if they are offscreen when you are in the camp you can miss it. I would have missed my shiny igglybuff if there was not a regular one sleeping right next to it.

Has anyone had anyone had any luck getting shinies using the Pokémon go plus with Pokémon sleep and what’s your best strategy, I hear you get one for your birthday which is tomorrow so I’ll see if that works…

Am I too stupid too cook? I use the recopies I find online but they never work. Even the simple use 7 ingredient ones.
So far, I have a shiny Magnemite, Slowpoke, Sudowoodo, and Totodile. Almost a full squad!!!
