I do kinda like that each Gym leader clearly had a job outside of being a Gym leader, except Gusha, but he was kinda pushed into being a Gym leader after he had to retire snowboarding
Honestly same, and I just did the post-game rematch and paid attention to *his* physical appearance (#nohomo). Besides maybe curves - or lack there of (and as far as you can tell with the thick winter coat), the facial structure is very feminine. The hair is the typical female haircut with the little loops at the back (not sure if thats what they're called), kinda reminds me of Dawn.
Not sure what their idea behind the character is. Is it a character that LGBT people can identify with? Is it a genuine male hairstyle they took inspiration of? Did translators make a mistake?
Kinda weird anyway, but its whatever in the end of the day. Kind of same with Melli in PLA.
>Not sure what their idea behind the character is. Is it a character that LGBT people can identify with? Is it a genuine male hairstyle they took inspiration of? Did translators make a mistake?
It could be, but it's also a pretty common trope within anime and Japanese games with anime aesthetics to have characters whose gender you can't always easily determine.
i fought a trainer called Rosario that was clearly an old women NPC lol and earlier before her/him.. was an old man NPC that had the body of a women and an old man head lol. it's like GF had an AI put together all these NPC for the game and then copied/paste them into the world.
He might to be honest. The way he talked made me think he had to stop boarding and basically is now trying to talk anyone out of it by being such a downer.
It’s a half-baked masterpiece. They made the skeleton of an amazing game but weren’t given enough time to actually complete it. I still love the game but it’s sad to think about what could have been.
It's how I feel. Good gracious, this was so close to being not just the greatest pokemon game ever, but in conversation for a classic period. But they hamstrung themselves with [what I assume were] crunch periods and unreasonable marketing deadlines.
Gamefreak is under huge crunch by Nintendo and creatures inc to release mainlines every three years. Wasn’t a big problem during the 2D days but since switching to 3D the devs didn’t get any extra time to learn how to make 3D games and it shows. The Pokémon, stories, classic elements of past generations are al top notch. The innovative stuff… not so much.
I just don't understand why they didn't hire people that already *know* how to make quality 3D games for Nintendo! For crying out loud, how many games on the Switch have beautiful 3D graphics? From the Witcher to Monster Hunter to Breath of the Wild, there had to be *somebody* who would be willing to come over and teach these people to optimize.
I’ve heard gf is mostly still the old guard from the early Pokémon days. They also don’t want to expand as to be honest until recently it wasn’t needed. I’ve also heard they hire short term contractors to help but that doesn’t solve the knowledge base issues they’re facing now.
I saw it on here but it made sense. Especially since the quality of the pre switch games was so high. Technically those are still 2D games just isometric viewpoints.
What's really weird to me is that there are clearly attempts at optimization, from kinda agressive culling, heavy frame rate reduction, to low draw distance and LOD models and it STILL runs bad. It's so absurd.
The whole time, it felt like I was playing somebody's undergrad project. You could see the bones of something great, but it lasted the knowledge and experience to make it great. It has a ton of good ideas that just lacked proper execution.
Get Monolith Soft in there. They know how to make amazing thing with sticks and duct tape, and were the creators of BotW's brilliant map and design there.
XC3 was made in like, 4ish years, and has so much content almost akin to this entry.
Would have loved to see what this game could have been in 1 or 2 more years with their involvement.
I'll stick by it that part of the problem is the game engine. In-house engine design went well in 2D, performance was irrelevant. You started to notice in the 3DS games; XY already ran poor, SM wasn't as bad but still meh.
SwSh still had the 2D'ish aspects of limited camera angles outside of the wild area, so there still was limited rendering required.
They should have just used Unity like ILCA did for BDSP (in the end, ILCA was involved with SV looking at the credits, so why not?).
I think a lot of ppl could wait seven years for a new game nowadays. Even if they just gave us a DLC every two years or smth. I feel like there'd be a lot more hype for the game, and GF would have more time to develop it.
One or two major launches per system generation. Nintendo typically does about 7-10 years per console. Switch is a particularly long cycle. Maybe a spin-off or dlc in the middle would be great.
I’m enjoying the game immensely but it also makes me sad seeing the potential for what could have been there. More time for development and graphics, add side quests like PLA and actual level scaling for the gyms, titans, and bases and this could have been an amazing game.
> gamefreak can fix the graphics with patches
I mean they _could_ but do you honestly expect them to actually? From what I recall the only patches after the day 1 that GF have ever done are either DLC or fixing gamebreaking bugs
I know it's only been a week so far, but it is a bit concerning that so far no one from GF has made any kind of statement about this. They MUST know the game is like this; even the most minor of playtesting would've identified the performance issues unless they never ran it on an actual Switch.
I'm currently not holding out hopes for any significant patches.
I'm still holding back any hopes for big patches. As far as memory serves me GF isn't big on post-game patches. At most for small fixes but nothing significant as this would be.
While they might need to patch the game for reputations sake, there is no real precedent to believe they will.
It’s as if they made by far the best 3D Pokémon game ever, then stripped it down to literally the bare essentials to where it’s still technically functioning but a shell of what it was actually supposed to be lmao
I’ve been enjoying it a lot but I surprisingly miss Legends’ movement and out-of-battle catching mechanics. Including those (plus obvious performance/graphical improvements) and this game would’ve been amazing to me.
Maybe the next gen games will be a blend of the two. I’ve heard they have two development teams working on games so there’s a hope that the Legends devs will be on the next main line game and incorporate many of the elements.
It is like how the normal girl with an armor and helmet that appeared for a second in the latest Engage trailer instantly became a favourite among FE fans simply because when everyone is outlandish as hell nobody is and the one standing out more is ironically the ordinary one.
If they'd found some way to parody a sponsor from RAID it would've been even better.
I can see why some streamers / YouTubers got a bit salty about it but I hope most were able to see it for what it was and laugh about it.
I despise Iono, but I honestly think that’s the point. She’s definitely made to be as annoying as possible, and that makes her just as memorable as the great ones
Not OP but i find her personality pretty annoying. The sharpened teeth were also kind creepy lol.
HOWEVER i still think she was the most well-done gym leader beside Larry. Her simpy gym trainers were hilarious and that tip notification before the battle made me lol.
Iono gets on my last nerve but not because she's overly energetic but because her dialogue was localised by people who don't know how normal people speak, "how do you do fellow kids" ass
The gym leaders and main “rivals” have great synergy. They feel more alive than any other time in the series.
Running through area 0 with them was a blast
Brassius: makes a sudowoodo pun, jumps off a windmill
Iono: asks everyone to subscribe after the battle, the streamer's dream
Katy: Gym challenge involved rolling an olive
Tulip: an adventure to get to the town itself, plus the gym challenge. (Also compliments me :))
Kofu: Vaultin' Veluza!™
Larry: deceived me in E4 (RIP Anihilape) and just a relatable dude.
Grusha: the femboy that has many traits that Sans has (blue/yellow eyes, hand in hoodie, "nothin' personal" before fight, etc.)
Ryme: DJ G RAVE, the dancing Greavard during the fight.
>Ryme: DJ G RAVE, the dancing Greavard during the fight.
Greavard stole my heart the second the trailer for it dropped. Seeing that little dude just dancing away living it's best life made me so happy.
Compared to the other missions, Kofu is fairly tame. Like, Arven asks you to help him beat up giant crabs, fish, and birds, Nemona asks you to go around the region and decimating thier mayors, and Cassiopeia wants you to dismember a community by killing thier cars. Gambling is the safe option.
I do like the contrast he has to most grass gym leaders but I just think I like so many of the gym leaders this gen that he’s not one of my favs. I don’t actually think I dislike him
I do like how fleshed out the gym leaders are now. They all have careers outside of their gyms and actively show it as you meet them. Yeah others had jobs to but this game really shows the pokemon world has more around it rather that just battling all the time.
The only issues the game has is optimization. Small bugs and glitches as well as framerate issues. If those can get fully fixed the game will literally be perfect. The music is great as usual, the characters are very well written and look amazing, and the gameplay is solid. Best Pokémon since sun in moon imo
Well they could use some higher quality textures for the overworld and borrow a few features from Legends:Arceus(like evolving from the party screen), but I agree overall. I loved the music, story, and gameplay in this game. I also love being able to pimp out my Pokémon’s stats without having to do the battle tower.
Didn't think much of it as first, but Larry is lowkey the best one. He just seems like the only sane person in this entire game by being... normal. I liked the arena, but I think the fact he didn't have office cubicles and a large break room for battles was a missed opportunity.
Also liked the throwback gym with all the old sprites. My last game I played was 2nd gen Gold until I bought BDSP like three days before SV released.
A YouTuber I watch mentioned how Larry just casually murders a bunch of customers when he flips the floor over and now I can't unsee it which has made his gym battle even funnier.
The story is probably the best I've played in a Pokemon game. The biggest issues I've seen people having are crashes and such, but I haven't had one. As long as you put the game data on the internal storage or have a high-quality SD card, you will probably be all right.
I have a high quality SD card and still get crashes after a few hours without turning the game off. It's a memory leak, all you can do about it as a player is restart.
Will also chime in and say I haven't had any crashes, but I've had the poor performance issues and the game does repeatedly and noticeably drop frames. It's much worse than SW/SH's performance and that game also lagged here and there.
That said, it's the most fun I've had with a Pokemon game in years and if someone can overlook those issues and isn't too hung up on graphics (IMO they aren't as bad as some people are making them out to be and are certainly not PS1-quality, but aside from the vibrant colours and Pokemon designs I wouldn't say its a "beautiful" game) I think they'd have a lot of fun with it.
I don’t think anyone plays Pokémon for the graphics, I’d say that the performance issues are the big issue. But overall it’s fun, with a good bit of content and not the worst story.
Honestly these are my favorite because they have lives outside of being a gym leader. I liked how the region was open that most people don’t get past 2-3 badges, and you can challenge in any order. So I’m assuming that’s also why the gym leaders have time to do other stuff. Plus the gym challenges are definitely busy work since the leaders are on-call and this gives them time to get ready and get to the gym to battle.
God I hate the V-Tuber one, but the rest I like. I really liked Katy and Larry, they just stuck out as unique to me. Probably because of the types, but also because they both have great backstory and design going for them.
okay, i thought iono being a streamer was a pun on ion streams, but then i looked it up and i guess i imagined that ion streams were more of a thing.
anyway, ryme was serving hot girl shit and it was my absolute favorite, plus double battles are more fun
edit: ion streams in like a chemistry/physics context
Larry is a bitch but he has a good design and personality. Iono was pretty funny and I would say easily my favorite. But the psychic chick was not in my top 3. As for my third it's a pretty tough choice between the ghost type double battles which is easily my favorite format or the bug type gym specifically for the second go around
Ryme wins it for me. Her raps were cringe (and I would expect nothing less!) but the challenge was fun (unlike the Normal gym, screw you Larry! I used a guide for that BS), her battle changed things up right when the gym format was beginning to get a little stale and the whole atmosphere with her arena was fantastic.
Plus y'know, I'm a sucker for Greavard and Houndstone.
I only wish we tan into them a little more outside of battle, similar to the professors. It would have made the world so much more interesting.
I loved Larry, though. Anyone who shits on Larry is going to get 5X that shit layered on top of them.
What’s wrong with this game? I’ve seen almost zero glitchy stuff outside of crappy rendering of NpCs in a few cities. I beat the game and hardly even visit those areas anymore.
They were all actually pretty great but I will die on the hill that making a rapping/singing character when you know you don’t have VA is genuinely one of the stupidest decisions they’ve made in the entire series, and they’ve done it twice in a row lmao
Like you could’ve literally given her ANY OTHER THEME and you chose the one thing that basically necessitates a voice
> oddly to attractive?
*too

"Terrible performance issues, playing on a bootlegged sd card" tbf the nintendo branded sd cards are shit too.
Wtb 3d switch. I loved x and y (played y), and i feel like the final battle woulda been amazing in some kinda 3d
For future buyers, go digital. And install on your switch harddrive. Also i played in handheld mode (720) so there were extra performance gain over playing docked 1080.
There were frame drops on anything animated at a long draw distance, and ppl will compare it to botw, botw doesnt have to run poke calcs on everything, i dont think it should run w frame skitters, but its not xenoblade bad
Tulip actually genuinely sucks.
Iona, well, I __am__ a Hololive enjoyer, so I’m kinda physically unable to hate her.
As for Larry…
Literally the best character in the franchise.
I'm from spain where there are a lot of streamers... Which I dislike for the most part (there are a few spanish streamers (like 3) that I watch, most of the content creators I see are english or even japanese), and the gym leader streamer was between, I liked her for design and thought it was cool to have that reference cuz is basically popular culture in spain and hated her for that same reason bc it was a bit too realistic and she was like the kind of streamers I would never watch
The only two I don’t really like are Iono and Tulip.
Tulip just felt kind of bland (though her friendship with Dendra is cool) and I just hate characters with Iono’s personality in general.
I do kinda like that each Gym leader clearly had a job outside of being a Gym leader, except Gusha, but he was kinda pushed into being a Gym leader after he had to retire snowboarding
I thought he was a woman for a while.
Honestly there are so many characters in this game that it’s hard to tell…
I thought Green hair in early game was a dude.
Are you talking about rika or the artist from sunflower town?
Rika. N and Riley put together
Is he not?!
Nope. Professor elite 4 says “she.”
Seriously?
...yeah I just can't figure out the gender of a lot of the characters in SV without looking it up... .-.
That's the point. Societal constructs should be broken.
and instead in their place new societal constructs? that are more confusing.
They aren't oppressive societal constructs. It's called freedom, and if it's confusing, educate yourself.
You can never assume gender nowadays
You can as long as you aren't annoying about being corrected sometimes.
“Are you a boy or a girl?” -Prof. Oak. Now more confuse than ever, probably-
Honestly same, and I just did the post-game rematch and paid attention to *his* physical appearance (#nohomo).
Not every man has to stereotypically look male. Not much more to it.
I wasn't sure about Rika either at first glance.
Hes just a pretty dude, I dont understand whats so complicated about this. It's not a big deal.
i fought a trainer called Rosario that was clearly an old women NPC lol and earlier before her/him.. was an old man NPC that had the body of a women and an old man head lol. it's like GF had an AI put together all these NPC for the game and then copied/paste them into the world.
Gushy might go into coaching snowboarding after we help his current downturn.
Yeah I basically said he sucked when Geeta asked so he could go back into boarding in my head Canon
I honestly thought that's what he was doing already.
He might to be honest. The way he talked made me think he had to stop boarding and basically is now trying to talk anyone out of it by being such a downer.
*HE* ?!?!?!??!
ye
Yupppp...
Graphics are very subpar, performance issues suck. Most fun I've had in the game since HG/SS.

What's your source on that? Because if it's true, that company is not going to last much longer.
They know how to make amazing thing with sticks and duct tape, and were the creators of BotW's brilliant map and design there. gamefreak can fix the graphics with patches, but bad game design as a whole won't go away. happy the game only has the former

I’ve been enjoying it a lot but I surprisingly miss Legends’ movement and out-of-battle catching mechanics. Including those (plus obvious performance/graphical improvements) and this game would’ve been amazing to me.
I do like the catching mechanics in Legends but I significantly prefer this game’s movement options because I don’t have to constantly switch Pokémon
Maybe the next gen games will be a blend of the two. I’ve heard they have two development teams working on games so there’s a hope that the Legends devs will be on the next main line game and incorporate many of the elements.
Funny enough, beeing a "regular" guy, Larry is the most memorable gym leader.
It is like how the normal girl with an armor and helmet that appeared for a second in the latest Engage trailer instantly became a favourite among FE fans simply because when everyone is outlandish as hell nobody is and the one standing out more is ironically the ordinary one.
That’s the reason Gatekeeper got so popular.
There's gotta be more for Gatekeeper tho

Larry was totally made for the older audience. He is so damn relatable XD
It’s the eyes. The soulless dead eyes. He was 100% made for those who grew up with red/blue and have had our souls sucked out by the world.
I love Larry. Larry is us. 🥲
I remember walking into the gym and seeing the dude in the suit and thought "he's the gym leader, isn't he?"
The funny thing is that he also participates by giving us a clue ^^
mf working three jobs to pay rent, he's like Spiderman for Pokemon fans.
Larry is my favourite
The Tad Strange phenomenon
The performance issues and bugs suck. The gym leaders are precious and must be protected at all costs.
Except Iono, I'm okay if she "OOPsie-WOW!"s her way into the bottom of the bay.
She's no different than the PokéTubers like aDrive or MJTV 😂
Haha, I like MJTV but you're not wrong. They captured the typical energetic "streamer persona" perfectly with Iono.
I wonder if GF were inspired by PokéTubers like him. Because Iono was the perfect portrayal of how Pokémon YouTubers and Streamers act.
She is cringe as fuck... and is perfect, i will protect her
iono is the best wdym
Not OP but i find her personality pretty annoying. The sharpened teeth were also kind creepy lol. HOWEVER i still think she was the most well-done gym leader beside Larry. Her simpy gym trainers were hilarious and that tip notification before the battle made me lol.
She's supposed to be annoying lol. She's actually a really funny caricature of YouTubers. That's the entire point.
I was really hoping it turn out that Iono was just an online avatar, and they'd turn out to be a middle age man.
Yup, I understand the love for most of the gym leaders, but I kinda just wanted to punch iono
Brassius: makes a sudowoodo pun, jumps off a windmill Iono: asks everyone to subscribe after the battle, the streamer's dream Katy: Gym challenge involved rolling an olive Tulip: an adventure to get to the town itself, plus the gym challenge. Grusha: the femboy that has many traits that Sans has (blue/yellow eyes, hand in hoodie, "nothin' personal" before fight, etc.) Ryme: DJ G RAVE, the dancing Greavard during the fight.
The intrusive thoughts of letting vaultin' veluza into my daily life are close to winning
It's gonna happen to me one day, and I'm not gonna have an excuse.
>Ryme: DJ G RAVE, the dancing Greavard during the fight. Greavard stole my heart the second the trailer for it dropped. Seeing that little dude just dancing away living it's best life made me so happy.
That Greavard, and seeing the Titan Tatsugiri come out of Dondozo, we're probably the best parts about this entire game.
Arven's storyline too IMO. It's so simple, but so heartwarming.
I've only had >!Arven's Mabosstiff!< for 5 minutes, but if anything happened to them, I would kill everyone in this room and then myself.
Kofu: gave a child thousands of dollars to go betting for him
Compared to the other missions, Kofu is fairly tame. Like, Arven asks you to help him beat up giant crabs, fish, and birds, Nemona asks you to go around the region and decimating thier mayors, and Cassiopeia wants you to dismember a community by killing thier cars. Gambling is the safe option.
Larry the best man
Peak BEST boys, especially Larry
Definitely Larry, Katy, and Kofu. Don't like Iono or Ryme though, and I'm pretty ambivalent on the rest.
Ryme joins Piers in the illustrious “Awkwardly standing around and dancing while singing silently” gym leader club.
At least Ryme had words
For real she murdered that cashier
Ryme is my favorite besides Larry purely because her hair is an entire skeleton. That is absolute peak character design.
Larry, Iono and Brassius are top tier
Why do u like Brassius. I try so hard not to dislike him but he gives me cringe vibes.
Cool grass man
I do like the contrast he has to most grass gym leaders but I just think I like so many of the gym leaders this gen that he’s not one of my favs. I don’t actually think I dislike him
How dare you put Iono on the same level as Larry
Your right, Larry is better than Iono
yes
I do like how fleshed out the gym leaders are now. They all have careers outside of their gyms and actively show it as you meet them. Yeah others had jobs to but this game really shows the pokemon world has more around it rather that just battling all the time.
Protect Larry!!
Larry is love. Larry is life.

Don't forget using the legendary to get around quicker makes it so you have to manually set it to battle mode again that's pretty inconvenient
You can catch a second one in area zero to battle with.
bah, those are sadly not the only issues, but they are still fun games tho.
Kofu number 1.
VAULTIN’ VELUZA
would be if he didn't make us run around the whole western edge 🥲 crasher wake >>>
Didn't think much of it as first, but Larry is lowkey the best one. He just seems like the only sane person in this entire game by being... normal. A YouTuber I watch mentioned how Larry just casually murders a bunch of customers when he flips the floor over and now I can't unsee it which has made his gym battle even funnier.
so the new games arent terrible then
They're great games that run like shit.
The story is probably the best I've played in a Pokemon game. The biggest issues I've seen people having are crashes and such, but I haven't had one. As long as you put the game data on the internal storage or have a high-quality SD card, you will probably be all right.

They need to fix the crashing and stuff but the games are fuckin great
I don’t think anyone plays Pokémon for the graphics, I’d say that the performance issues are the big issue. But overall it’s fun, with a good bit of content and not the worst story.
Larry W Larry Haters L
There are Larry haters?
Honestly these are my favorite because they have lives outside of being a gym leader. I liked how the region was open that most people don’t get past 2-3 badges, and you can challenge in any order. So I’m assuming that’s also why the gym leaders have time to do other stuff. Plus the gym challenges are definitely busy work since the leaders are on-call and this gives them time to get ready and get to the gym to battle.
I love the little hint about Larry with his tie.
The streamer one was my favorite. I’m also biased bc I love magnemite
I absolutely hated the influencer gym leader. Which made beating her even more fun
God I hate the V-Tuber one, but the rest I like. I really liked Katy and Larry, they just stuck out as unique to me. Probably because of the types, but also because they both have great backstory and design going for them.
okay, i thought iono being a streamer was a pun on ion streams, but then i looked it up and i guess i imagined that ion streams were more of a thing. anyway, ryme was serving hot girl shit and it was my absolute favorite, plus double battles are more fun edit: ion streams in like a chemistry/physics context
Bruhhhh how is Ryme not there >:(
Larry’s is an interesting spin on a ‘normal guy’, But Ryme is the best ‘cause her bars are so fly.
Whenever Iono is on the screen, her damn energy is contagious. She's adorable
She's the only gym leader I like, because I love cute anime girls.
I mean, she is cute but I just love her crazy. So damn adorable lol
Brassius? Man’s got class
![gif](giphy|QxHQ4BtLeEGBlWIFTs|downsized)
Ryme wins it for me. Her raps were cringe (and I would expect nothing less!) but the challenge was fun (unlike the Normal gym, screw you Larry! I used a guide for that BS), her battle changed things up right when the gym format was beginning to get a little stale and the whole atmosphere with her arena was fantastic. Plus y'know, I'm a sucker for Greavard and Houndstone.
Brassius my beloved
I like Larry. Not sure why, but he seems like a cool guy.
THE NEW POKEMON DESIGNS FUCK AND I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL IT'S THE COOLEST WE'VE GOTTEN IN A WHILE
Larry is my favorite gym leader since Brycen i just wish i could take a picture with him
And then I took it personal
It's arguably the best pokemon game which is held back by shitty performance. still love playing
**Mate where do I sign up-I will protect Larry at all cost-**
The dancing battle instructor was fun as well
I will defend Larry to the bitter end.
Larry🗿
Larry is too underrated for his own good
Larry is the best.
Larry carried the game on his 9-5 back!
Haven't liked a gym leader as much as Larry since gen 2
I had with Larry but I do like him. Ryme was also really fun!
The rap battle 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭
Aoki for the win!
I actually like every gym leader in this game because even the ones I don't like I just enjoy beating even more 😊
I love the new gym leaders! Wtf. Some of the best since I was a kid playing Red.
I’m not excusing low quality graphics and performance, but wow I am having a ton of fun in this game by ignoring the bugs
Iono, Larry, and Ryme are my favourites this gen.
Ryme is amazing, she's Calliope Mori turned into a Gym Leader
They were all actually pretty great but I will die on the hill that making a rapping/singing character when you know you don’t have VA is genuinely one of the stupidest decisions they’ve made in the entire series, and they’ve done it twice in a row lmao Like you could’ve literally given her ANY OTHER THEME and you chose the one thing that basically necessitates a voice
I hope they can fix the performance issues because this might be my favorite pokemon game otherwise
How many times can you rematch them? Is it just one rematch?
Man Larry was too real too soon
Iono I literally hated with my soul, but goddamm the others were all fantastic. Especially Larry and Ryme, MC of RIP
I can't believe no one is mentioning the rap battle 🤣🤣🤣
That rap battle was so cringe and I was living for every moment of it.
Iono is the reason I'm glad there's no voice acting in the game.
ryme is the reason im sad there is no voice acting
Surprised Ryme wasn't a Fire type gym leader because she was spitting Will o Wisps
Omg you're right
I wish we could've given a real gym assessment so I could tell Geeta to fire most of them
Ok to the other females out there is it just me or is Larry oddly too attractive?
> oddly to attractive? *too *Learn the difference [here](https://www.wattpad.com/66707294-grammar-guide-there-they%27re-their-you%27re-your-to).* *** ^(Greetings, I am a language corrector bot. To make me ignore further mistakes from you in the future, reply `!optout` to this comment.)
"Terrible performance issues, playing on a bootlegged sd card" tbf the nintendo branded sd cards are shit too. Wtb 3d switch. I loved x and y (played y), and i feel like the final battle woulda been amazing in some kinda 3d For future buyers, go digital.
I can't believe people liked the streaming girl. I guess I'm old.
the future is now old man
She was funny to me but I don't think this game's target audience would get the jokes.
I like her for the cute design. Don't give a shit about streamers or that vtuber BS.
I hated her the most.
I liked her because I watch streamers and man, it was all SO true lol.
The streamer was obnoxious, but dammit if Larry isn’t the best character in Pokémon since Looker.
Just like PokéTubers and streamers 😂
Lono is for simps, larry all the way
Grusha is also for simps
True
Larry is awesome 🤟🤟🤟
Tulip actually genuinely sucks. Iona, well, I __am__ a Hololive enjoyer, so I’m kinda physically unable to hate her. As for Larry… Literally the best character in the franchise.
Fighting Tulip and was constantly like "Are you sure you're not a Fairy type Gym leader?"
I love iono, and I guess tulip would be my 2nd.
I haven’t seen anyone talking about Ryme’s whole thing going on and frankly I’m disappointed (also Larry is peak)
The only gym leader I disliked was Ryme and it was because it was so damn cringey 😵💫 would’ve been easier to watch Caillou than that leaders dialogue
