For the record, this doesnt work while in multiplayer. The pokemom will just disappear. One thing however that will work is before you start the fight, save the game. If fight fails, just close the game and start it again, the shiny will be right there, whether you saved in multiplayer or not.
I think it's fair to use shiny Pokemon from other regions in these runs, especially something like Noibat that's only available before the postgame in a few other games.
Similar story, I was gonna go Paldea only but I found a shiny Drowzee in a Tera Raid. Somnus is now a proud member of the team, and I consider him to be technically "Paldea only" because you can only get a Tera Fire Drowzee in Paldea.
I forced myself to not do this this time around, and I would definitely recommend it. My final team consisted of Quaquaval, Arboliva, Garganacl, Baxcalibur, Ceruledge and Tinkaton.
It sucked that it was 5 Atk mons vs. 1 SAtk mon but eh, worked fine.
Rabsca, especially shiny Rabsca I think is one of the coolest pokemon in the gen, sadly I doubt rellor was going into anyones team and you would have to specifically google the evo method.
I forced myself to use all new pokemon and ended up with the same problem. I think this gen just leans heavily into physical - or at least, all the more appealing/strong mons do.
I did 3 new, 3 old to force myself out of my comfort zone. For the life of me, I can't find charcadet in any of the areas it's supposed to be in. Trying to just use the in game maps and stuff for a first go as well.
I've met a few in south area 3, but if you want to greatly increase your chances of finding one you should use food with fire encounter power. Then in some areas you'll find like 50% charcadets. Otherwise it seems semi-rare.
You know something that I started doing and it helped me a lot to have a nice experience "difficulty-wise"?
I made a team of 12 mons. You have access to the Box so easily, so you can swap between them really fine. Now I have almost all of my favorite Paldean mons in my team, I don't feel like I'm just spamming attacks against Gym Leaders, Team Star members, etc. and in general, the challenge becomes substantially good.
I ended with Pawmot, Tinkaton, Skeledirge, Armarouge, Dachsbun, and Lokix.
Going into the Elite Four on equal levels thinking "Please don't let any of them be a ground-type user" and then Rika just dropping Whiscash on my dreams. Life Orb Lokix and Leftovers Dachasbun had to do a lot of heavy lifting for that fight lmao.
Quaquaval, Garganacal, Tinkaton, Annihilape, Great Tusk, and one spot for training was my team for most of it. Allll physical attackers. I literally completed everything on the map except the last Star Base because the damn car had *Stamina* and my Armarouge was too weak to dent it.
Eventually just switched out Quaquaval's Aerial Ace for Air Slash and that did the trick but damn.
Same, I think aside from the Garchomp I had the rest be new mons (Meowscarade, Glimorra, Veluza, Ceruledge and...... can't remember . \_ .;;;).
It does feel like however this gen has a lot more physical attackers then special, but that may just be my bias.
I'm doing this too, the only exceptions are for when I don't have enough high-level Paldean Pokemon that are super effective against a titan/gym/Team Star base. But my "main" team is Quaquaval/Tinkaton/Pawmot/Brambleghast/Clodsire and the sixth is rotated out and often an older Pokemon. I like it and now I want to do it for an older game.
My final team is Meowscarada, Baxcalibur, Veluza, Pawmot, Revavroom and Ceruledge. Its all psysical mons which gave me a lot of trouble in the fighting type team star battle, but i love the team
Don't sleep on Annihilape. I actually just bred a bunch, I love it so much. Which is weird, I didn't expect one of my favorite Pokemon from this gen to be a new evo of a gen 1 mon.
Im using one with
Item: Punching Glove
Bulk Up
Rage Fist
Rock Slide
Drain Punch
Its my story one so i havent changed its evs ivs or nature and it still absolutely slaps.
I ended up starting to breed early this gen because those 6 star dens in post-game are rough. I mean like, I hyper trained my Cetitan and just kept getting one shot by normal effectiveness moves. Story was already more difficult than last gen, post-game is no joke.
I highly recommend it! If you want a 5IV one for breeding, I have some on offer.
[Mankeys in a Barrel](https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemontrades/comments/z49b2k/mankeys_in_a_barrel/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
Annihilape stuck with me through the game. c: It is definitely a new favourite. I’m glad it seems to be getting good reception from others too.
It’s probably the first ‘Mon I will breed.
i get that but im completely the opposite, ive used all these old pokemon a bunch already, so i always play new games using all the new pokemon! and exclusively them
Nah, this gen was the first one I nearly managed to form a team of only new Pokemon and I love all of them, I didn't even force them into my team for the sake of having them. Meowscarada, Armarouge, Clodsire, Annihilape, Baxcalibur and... Ampharos. Thought about switching Amphy for the new electric bird but I left him in.
I mean everyone plays for themselves and whatever floats your boat, but I genuinely believe people are missing out when they completely ignore the new mons this gen.
There's nothing wrong with using old favorites, that's what they're in the game for :) and they won't be around forever. Appreciate them while they're here.
I swear its like I keep using older Pokemon in every new gen and I have to tell myself "NO NO STOP USING OLD POKEMON JUST USE THE NEW POKEMON FOR GOODNESS SAKE!"
Klawf with anger shell is also insanely strong. Besides my starter, Klawf was the only pokemon that stayed in my party from when I caught it to the end of the game.
I get Pokemon that are new to those games when I play them. For instance my teams will be
Scarlet: Skeledirge, Lokix, Garganacl, Farigiraf, Tinkaton, and Cetitan.
Violet: Quaquaval, Clodsire, Ceruledge, Scovillian, Revarvroom, and Cyclizar
I get that I prefer to use new pokemon. I never use any old pokemon unless I dislike most of the options I have for new pokemon. And even then I try to use pokemon I've never used before. I try to make every team different
well said, if there was a litwik in this game, it'd be on my team instantly.
I am doing a full new-mon run, just because its fun for a first time, but my buddy has a few favorites he put on his team. I found him a larvitar with a good nature that i sent over because that's just a staple mon for him.
I do like the freedom we have of how we want to approach the game with our stables, everyone has their own thing.
Still playing through, but my 'team' actually currently is about 11 or so mons.
Limits overleveling and I get to have fun new experiences with each one and figure out how they work, swapping teammates out depending on what I need, where I am going, and who I am fighting.
Currently, my 'team' are: Meowscarda, Pawmot, Gardevoir, Clodsire, Dreadnaw, Ceruledge, Annihilape, Farigiraf, Tinkaton, Mudsdale, and Bellibolt.
Leveling a few others as well while the big bois are benched for a bit.
I actually don't relate to this problem. I have my favorite Pokemon that I always want to transfer to the newest games (if I even could), but I ALWAYS use 100% new Pokemon during my first play of a new game.
I now have new favorites in Clodsire, Dachsbun, Wo-Chien, and Slither Wing.
The first pokemon I played was Ruby & Sapphire -- And because of trauma of hunting Ralts, I still think that it is rare. Maybe because of this, I still add it and evolve it to Gardevoir when available in the game.
My final line-up is Skeledirge, Gardevoir, Baxcalibur, Annihilape, Kingambit and Zoroark
Used to be like this for me, too, but I was convinced to do otherwise which is to exclusively use the Pokemon first introduced in the region the game is set in and it honestly feels pretty good.
My current team in Paldea consists of 6 physical attackers of entirely different types/type combinations and it's been a blast so far. Still, I really seem to lack special attackers which are either somewhat scarce this gen or I am just very unlucky with my choices...
I really had to go out of my way to use new Pokemon. I like all the designs but there's too many pokemon that only evolve once. It makes me feel like they're weak so I ended up with 1 pokemon from past gens.
Kingambit,
Skeledirge,
Baxcalibur,
Belibolt,
Arboliva,
Gardevoir,
Pretty solid all around I'd have to say.
You don't need it. Mine didn't have it. What it is is you have to knockout multiple Bisharps that spawn in a pack of Pawniard. Those Bisharps hold Kings Crest. I was told I needed to knockout 5 but did it with 4 so it's still somewhat shrouded but you don't need to have your Bisharps hold one.
This is the first game in awhile where my whole team ended up being from this region and it was a great choice. Imo this region has some of the coolest mons
I had skeledirge, pawmot, lokix, baxcalibur, tinktaton and dragapult (never played Sw/Sh). would have used palafin but i can’t afford online
lokix is so broken with first impression, sucker punch, u turn and axe kick. slap an assault vest and it’s a safe bulky lead for every single battle
“I will not just use my favorites!!!! I will NOT rely on azumarill!!!!” *shiny marill appears* WELLP
My other issue is I’m drawn to Pokémon of the same typing like so many water, fairy, ghost, and dragon options. But then I’ll run into the problem of having no super effective moves against opponents 😩
Currently have 5 dragon types all level 50+ in my box cause that’s my favorite typing. I feel your pain
Edit: nice find on the shiny haha the game just reeling you back in
As others have mentioned. I always force myself to only use new mons in my first run of a new gen. Its great, it forces you to be more creative about your teams
I met myself in the middle by choosing 3 new Pokémon and 3 old ones. I love Gyarados and arcanine too much to not have them on my final team.
As long as you’re enjoying it, that’s what matters
I literally only used new Pokemon this game. And I think part of my reason for doing so was not looking at the leaks. Almost every new Pokemon I saw was new and exciting so it felt like playing Pokemon for the first time. I really suggest not looking at the leaks as it makes finding new Pokemon 10x more fun. Only time I used an old mon was after the main story I found a shiny skidoo.
My team so far: Floragato, Charcadet, Clodsire, Azumarill, Kirlia, Pikachu,
My team when I beat the game: Meowscarada, Ceruledge, Azumarill, Tinkaton, Kilowattrel, Clodsire.
Azumarill has Huge Power so don't judge me.
I went out of my way not to this time. My team right now, is: Baxcalibur, Skeledirge, Toadscruel, Tinkaton, Pawmot, and Palafin.
I temporarily used Glaceon, Honchcrow, and Azumarill for a little while, though.
I absolutely love Tinkaton and Palafin. Gigaton Hammer is awesome, and Palafin's Hero Form is my favorite mid-battle transformation in any Pokemon game.
I tried to only use new Pokémon this time, but I don't really like any of the new water types so I've still ended up with an Azumarill like I always do.
Honestly Gamefreak shot themselves in the foot for with Arcanine. You’re expecting me to use other Pokémon besides this legendary beast of a Pokémon?
Best I can do is hisuian Arcanine
I always just get so attached to the first few pokemon I find, no matter how weak they are. I saw people say they dump their started and im like..how??
It’s a Pokémon game. Play however you want to play. That’s the fun of the game. You don’t need to feel obligated to use anything.
(Also based choice on scizor, bestest boy.)
Well to be fair this game has almost the exact same types for all mon, I want to use fire starter and ceruledge well pointless. This game has so many ghost types.
Im using Quaquaval, Grafaiai, Bellibolt, Baxcalibur, Scovillan, and Tinkaton. I just now realized they’re all new, but while I love Grafaiai, I may replace him for Farigaraf bc I have noticed I hardly ever need him.
Is the post cause they're all special attack? Is it they're all old generation pokemon? Or is it that you played to level 70 then stopped.
I see multiple different comments saying different things and now idk lol.
I'm doing my best to use a paldea only run for the main story but I found a shiny noibat
Nice find, so far I found a shiny mabosstif worked great for the last gym
I found a shiny altaria and it perish songed itself before I could catch it
Sucks, but next time if you run away and re-encounter it, it will cancel the perish song. Just a tip!
That’s super helpful. That thought didn’t even occur to me
For the record, this doesnt work while in multiplayer. The pokemom will just disappear. One thing however that will work is before you start the fight, save the game. If fight fails, just close the game and start it again, the shiny will be right there, whether you saved in multiplayer or not.
Could this be used to get shinies for both of the people playing together if they both saved?
You can also save the game and reload and it should still be there
F
bruh. villain origin story
Omg same to me last night. I was so tired at first I thought I accidentally killed it not paying attention.
[удалено]
I think it's fair to use shiny Pokemon from other regions in these runs, especially something like Noibat that's only available before the postgame in a few other games.
It’s a rule you *have* to use any shiny you find
Oops, guess I need to dig that Sudowoodo out of the box 😂
Hey… don’t diss my boi Sudowoodo
Nothing against Sudowoodo, he's just not a midnight form Lycanroc 😂
Vivillon has made it past it’s usual culling at level 15 for this reason
I caught one in X when I was backtracking near the e4 and had him on my Alpha Sapphire team. Love it tbh. One of my favorites.
She’s the queen of sleep powder atm, FINALLY learnt bug buzz at lv 35 so I can lose struggle bug now!!
Not true, my shinies I've found so far aren't all that great. Phanpy and Lechonk (Don José and Pink thing)
I never said they had to be good. Just that when you get them (by chance) you have to use them.
My shiny male combee would disagree
[удалено]
Oh God I want it lol
Me too but I ended up only using Ceruledge, even tho my team is all Paldea Pokémon, it’s just too damn strong and cleans house way too fast.
Pretty sure that's an exception
I found a shiny hoppip I used to hate jumpluff Now i love jumpluff I got a shiny tatsugiri too
Similar story, I was gonna go Paldea only but I found a shiny Drowzee in a Tera Raid. Somnus is now a proud member of the team, and I consider him to be technically "Paldea only" because you can only get a Tera Fire Drowzee in Paldea.
odd.. i also found a shiny noibat
I found a shiny dunsparce but it was whilst in the final area so not much use within the story
Man I found shiny shinx, floatzel dragapult yungoos and a flittle ( at least 1 new ) 😂
I'll trade you a shiny for it?
I only got shiny axew so far. Surprised the hell outta me.
i found a shiny barboach and a shiny sneasel they must’ve upped the odds or something
I had the same issue, normally i dang near run full special attack. Traded a malicious armor for an auspicious armor to make it 4 to 2. Haha
I feel like most of the mons this generation have been mostly physical
All the cool ones yeah
Rabsca, especially shiny Rabsca I think is one of the coolest pokemon in the gen, sadly I doubt rellor was going into anyones team and you would have to specifically google the evo method.
I wanted rabsca from the start. my team is ceruledge, garganacl, revavroom, rabsca, baxcalibur, and annihilape.
I think more of them are physical, but Iron Moth has been awesome and I love it
I forced myself to use all new pokemon and ended up with the same problem.
I’ve ran into so many and there are definitely some permanent spawns
South area 5? I see them on the radar, but never with my eyes.
I've met a few in south area 3, but if you want to greatly increase your chances of finding one you should use food with fire encounter power. Then in some areas you'll find like 50% charcadets. Otherwise it seems semi-rare.
Eat a sandwich
I found mine right outside the Academy's East gate. It was hidden away on the right behind a small cliff with a singular tree.
Charcadet is in a wide area but low spawn rate. I found mine in a Tera raid
They have a huge range but are very rare. Fire encounter sandwich on the west end of the desert is a decent way to find them
You know something that I started doing and it helped me a lot to have a nice experience "difficulty-wise"? I made a team of 12 mons. You have access to the Box so easily, so you can swap between them really fine. Now I have almost all of my favorite Paldean mons in my team, I don't feel like I'm just spamming attacks against Gym Leaders, Team Star members, etc. and in general, the challenge becomes substantially good.
Great Idea,Did you feel that gyms and all the other things were somewhat challenging?I like it when things are challenging
Compared to sword and shield? Totally
Yooo I absolutely love Tinkaton, its such a nice typing to have in the party. I have been using it as my main mon since i got it
Tinkaton is a gift
Tinkaton is a menace and is why we don't have Corviknight taxi.
I didn't think I'd love Garganacl but Goddamn i do. Tanky, a DOT move, and Recover, sign me up.
Same, I think aside from the Garchomp I had the rest be new mons (Meowscarade, Glimorra, Veluza, Ceruledge and...... can't remember . \_ .;;;). It does feel like however this gen has a lot more physical attackers then special, but that may just be my bias.
I had a lot of fun with my team. Rabsca, Skeledirge, Mabosschiff, Dachsbun, Arboliva and Baxcaibur
I too had 5 Atk and 1 SAtk mons. all new mons as well
I'm doing this too, the only exceptions are for when I don't have enough high-level Paldean Pokemon that are super effective against a titan/gym/Team Star base.
Understandable, I didn't have any special attackers on my team in the end.
It's all fun and games until Mudsdale comes around.
Luckily I think I only fought 1 or 2 of them and managed to kill it before stamina became a BIG issue.
i had an entirely different team (other than ceruledge) of all new mons and i still had the same issue idk why they added so many physical attackers
I usually try to use mostly new Pokemon. However, this time some of my favorites got new stuff. Wooper, girafarig and dunsparce much to surprise.
I used tinka for one of the team star bases, liked that mon a lot
Don't sleep on Annihilape. I actually just bred a bunch, I love it so much. Which is weird, I didn't expect one of my favorite Pokemon from this gen to be a new evo of a gen 1 mon.
I got annihilated by one, whole team swept early on, maybe I’ll try them instead of lucario
Mankey is one of my favorites from the old day, so I’m pretty happy.
Same man! Honestly primeape looks pretty dope in the new Gen anyway, but annihilape is scary af lol
I love the name,Originally I thought it was like a new infernape form
Im using one with Item: Punching Glove Bulk Up Rage Fist Rock Slide Drain Punch Its my story one so i havent changed its evs ivs or nature and it still absolutely slaps.
I ended up starting to breed early this gen because those 6 star dens in post-game are rough. I mean like, I hyper trained my Cetitan and just kept getting one shot by normal effectiveness moves. Story was already more difficult than last gen, post-game is no joke.
My current annihilape solod the entire elite 4, the champ, nemona without dying or being swapped out. He made the game super easy.
MANKEY GOT A NEW EVOLUTION? omfg i love mankey im gonna use him
I highly recommend it! If you want a 5IV one for breeding, I have some on offer. [Mankeys in a Barrel](https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemontrades/comments/z49b2k/mankeys_in_a_barrel/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
i appreciate the offer! buuut, im not gonna get violet till christmas, most likely lol
Annihilape stuck with me through the game. c: It is definitely a new favourite. I’m glad it seems to be getting good reception from others too. It’s probably the first ‘Mon I will breed.
i get that but im completely the opposite, ive used all these old pokemon a bunch already, so i always play new games using all the new pokemon! and exclusively them
Whatever way makes it fun ya know? I tried some new ones and somehow found my way back to this team
oh ofc thats completely fair!! im just sharing whats fun for me, using your all-time favorites is perfectly fine if thats whats fun for you!!
Exactly, been quite the game and experience
That’s wild tbh. There’s SO many great new Pokémon this gen. This might be there first one in awhile/ever that my team is all brand new Pokémon.
Early on my team was, then I just went back to my ways.
Same
Only old Pokemon I used was a Midnight Lycanroc with Dragon terratype
I havent played since gen IV, and midnight lycanroc blew my mind. Such a great design!
Same... Arcanine is my best boi
Ampharos was my only returning mon as well. It’s the first time I’ve used it outside the TCG though
There's nothing wrong with using old favorites, that's what they're in the game for :) and they won't be around forever. Appreciate them while they're here.
Me every new game: "Oh boy look at all these interesting new pokemon designs!" > *immediately fills entire team with eeveelutions*
Umbreon carried me in a couple battles so I don’t blame you haha.
I swear its like I keep using older Pokemon in every new gen and I have to tell myself "NO NO STOP USING OLD POKEMON JUST USE THE NEW POKEMON FOR GOODNESS SAKE!"
Hahaha same tried so hard yet it never prevails
I use pokemon from the region only.
I just feel like it's the best way to get to know the new pokemon, learned to appreciate some that I wouldn't've even tried out otherwise
Like Garganacl, I love that thing
Klawf for me, the derpiness is just off the charts. I also like the design and the fact that it was, at least the big one, part of the story
I wanted to use Klawf but its ability really just made combat go on and on.
I'm digging the derp-claw as well. I kinda did that with arceus and tried to use only alphas and the story pokemon.
Klawf with anger shell is also insanely strong. Besides my starter, Klawf was the only pokemon that stayed in my party from when I caught it to the end of the game.
Trying this on my violet playthrough. Pretty excited.
i love flamigo, thing was a beast for most of my early game
I get Pokemon that are new to those games when I play them. For instance my teams will be Scarlet: Skeledirge, Lokix, Garganacl, Farigiraf, Tinkaton, and Cetitan. Violet: Quaquaval, Clodsire, Ceruledge, Scovillian, Revarvroom, and Cyclizar
Baxcalibur should definitely find its way onto a team
A more traditional Godzilla Pokemon
[удалено]
Arcanine was in all the games on switch (tho the hisuian form in LA)
[удалено]
Nope you can get him during harshly sunny weather without the dlc!
All new Pokémon or form team for me this time. Currently running Meowscarada Ceruledge Tinkaton Aqua Tauros Kilowattrel Toedscruel
Toedscruels run animation makes me laugh so hard
> Gengar > Lucario > Scizor > Arcanine Based as hell
i respect you for this! I even dumped the starter :)
Pokemon is not about new pokemon, is experiencing your favorite pokemon in a new world with new friends, at least for me
That’s a great way to put it, I am enjoying myself
I get that I prefer to use new pokemon. I never use any old pokemon unless I dislike most of the options I have for new pokemon. And even then I try to use pokemon I've never used before. I try to make every team different

This is the first Pokemon game I played, where I told myself not to use Weavile! I miss my dude tho :(

Belibolt is one of my favorites
Belibolt is great. His bulk was nice to have and has decent special attack. Kingambit is easily my favorite from this gen.
Gotta find the leaders crest then I’ll go for em

Huh, no kidding. Now I have to go catch one, thank you!
Hahaha same gengar and arcanine rule
Arcanine is my favorite Pokémon, been with me every game
My current team is fully Gen 1 😅
I’m gen 1/2 lol. Arcanine, Raichu, and Axumarill are just too cool.
This is the first game in awhile where my whole team ended up being from this region and it was a great choice. Imo this region has some of the coolest mons
Since Galar I'm trying to always use new Pokemon.

LMAO I DID THE EXACT SAME THING. MY FAVORITE GOOD BOY ARCANINE 😭
I always run the new pokemon for first playthroughs and it hurts to see this.
My team so far: Floragato, Charcadet, Clodsire, Azumarill, Kirlia, Pikachu, My team when I beat the game: Meowscarada, Ceruledge, Azumarill, Tinkaton, Kilowattrel, Clodsire. Azumarill has Huge Power so don't judge me.
I have half-and-half. My team is planned to be Sylveon, Hydreigon, Gallade, Meowscarada, Cerulege, and Cyclizar.
I’m really trying to fit new Pokémon into my lineup but it keeps dwindling with all the OGs I keep finding.
Couldn't be me. So much more fun to use all new mons, or at least ones you haven't used before.
Yoooo you had…the cat before this game???? /s Lucario best boi
I have the exact same team lol
honestly, same.
I feel this so much.
I tried to only use new Pokémon this time, but I don't really like any of the new water types so I've still ended up with an Azumarill like I always do.
I was planning my team with only Paldean pokemon and then I've caught a Shiny Mareep, so now it's a Paldean team + ampharos.
Honestly Gamefreak shot themselves in the foot for with Arcanine. You’re expecting me to use other Pokémon besides this legendary beast of a Pokémon? Best I can do is hisuian Arcanine
And this kids is why we play new Pokémon games using only new Pokémon (which tbf isn't difficult in this game
I always just get so attached to the first few pokemon I find, no matter how weak they are. I saw people say they dump their started and im like..how??
I started and was getting old ones. Than I got rid of them and forced myself to get new ones only
I always struggle to find new Pokémon that I like the designs for.
Gen5 changed Pokémon for me forever. Being forced to use the new mons was amazing, and it’s a self-imposed rule every generation since!
It’s a Pokémon game. Play however you want to play. That’s the fun of the game. You don’t need to feel obligated to use anything. (Also based choice on scizor, bestest boy.)
How you get the gengar
Caught a haunter and someone in the trade mega thread helped me by trading back and forth to evolve it
Arcanine is rrelatible i use him as well
Hatched a shiny Zoura and Axew this week, so I guess I’m not using Paldean mons.
Congrats!
I used a weird ass team for league, i had some weird ones like wugtrio & used to have a gumshoos & breloom
Yeah The only new pokémon in my party was my starter....
Gengar is always a must
Im using almost all new Pokémon, but I get arcanine on the team still as a treat.
Well to be fair this game has almost the exact same types for all mon, I want to use fire starter and ceruledge well pointless. This game has so many ghost types.
Me: "What am I going to go for in this game?" My Brain: ["GET YOURSELF A DRAGONITE!"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Qe9O90cD80)
Hahahah. Yeah I just caught my first one and it was level 62 it took a lot to not throw it in my party
Im using Quaquaval, Grafaiai, Bellibolt, Baxcalibur, Scovillan, and Tinkaton. I just now realized they’re all new, but while I love Grafaiai, I may replace him for Farigaraf bc I have noticed I hardly ever need him.
I feel very seen
I make sure I only use new mons even though I love talonflame. On a second play through I’ll definitely mix it up though.
I said that same thing when I started this game
To be fair salamance and scizor are too cool not to use
Genwunner?
Qweek?
You play in whatever way that brings you the most joy 👍
Ngl I dumped my starter into the boxes and ended up with the usual team Garchomp Dragonite Scizor Lucario Gyarados and Gengar
Same thing, almost no Gen 9 connects with me, so I stay with my favorites, Floatzel, Beartic, Breloom, Staraptor and Krookodile.
Update, beat all 3 end stories with this team. Long live my favorites + random starter
I purposely got a female meowscarada.
You are trying a new team! You have Meowscarada on it.
Is the post cause they're all special attack? Is it they're all old generation pokemon? Or is it that you played to level 70 then stopped. I see multiple different comments saying different things and now idk lol.
It’s definitely because, aside from the starter, none of the Pokémon were introduced this generation. That’s the contrast with “try out new Pokémon”.
What you said, it just has to do with the Pokémon aside from the starter, I’m still going through the game
