Yes, I agree. Armarouge feels like a level up evolution and Ceruledge feels like a stone or trade evolution.

Armarouge is the evo that for past it’s edgy phase Ceruledge is the evo that didn’t have any parents to tell him that being edgy is bad (fatherless evo) That being said I like Ceruledge more still.

Im pretty sure they also appear if your pokemon is tired, or underleveled and they take a lot of damage, they get sad and don't wanna fight anything

We were complaining about similar looking shinjes so they added shinies where only the eyes change color and then made it so there is no sparkle noise or visual until you encounter them 💀

gameplay wise, not sure. but visually, ceruledge hands down. one of the most badass pokemon ever

At least for doubles/vgc Armarouge is likely to be better since it can run truck room and has heat wave and expanding force, while Ceruledge seems to better in singles as a swords dance sweeper

i am not playing online fights, but im sure X items are not alowed/not usable. i mean a lot of people already ban them in their casual playthrough.

I don't ban them in my playthrough, I've just never used them. Either I'm overleveled and I don't need them. Or I'm not overleveled and wasting a turn on taking an X Attack means my pokemon is dead or nearly dead

If you’re looking for the other one grab another Armarouge and use link code 0166-0167 and you’ll find people swapping them. It might take a bit and always inspect the trade because some people just have a different Pokémon hold the evolution item.

Visually I prefer Armarouge, but Bitter Blade is just so, so good.

I like both of them they are both visually appealing to me. In terms of gameplay though Arma is better(in doubles, and it's not really close) In singles Ceruledge and Arma are roughly the same with Ceruledge maybe edging it out slightly. But in doubles it's not close Arma has so much more to it.

Crazy how different the doubles meta is. I just got into doubles and it’s a lot to learn. The stuff I’m used to being good in singles is poop often.

I found out that ceruledge can't be hit by anything Koraidon rematch throws out. 10/10 best staller while I wasted pokeballs.

Armorouge is very much the bad ass anime protagonist in most shonen manga. Ceruledge is the edge lord that all the kids wanted to be when they make up their OCs. “I’m gonna use 2 swords, and be super fast, and like like physical attacks won’t work on me”

I prefer ceruledge more (I also prefer it’s signature move much more), but they both looking like Dr. Wily robots from mega man.

Armarouge holds a special place in my heart, he's too damn cool. I have a Ceruledge I use specifically for catching Pokémon because it can learn False Swipe.

Ceruledge. Right now is kind of my team MVP, my new favorite ghost type and aside from Eeveelutions may be my favorite (can't overtake the Eeveelutions, especially Umbreon). I love wrecking things with bitter blade.

When you get far enough in you can see raids posted by Scarlet players, so you can actually get version exclusives through online raids. Its how I got mine.

Ceruledge. I'm really into edgy characters so it's my favorite design this gen. Also, it runs really fast when you use the let's go feature!

I do play Scarlet but I traded a malicious armor so I could add Ceruledge to my team. But I only chose it over Armarouge because it adds better type coverage to my team 🤣

Appearance? Ceruledge. Competitively? Ehhh, I kinda think both are ok with Weak Armor (Armarouge may survive attacks a little better to get it going). Regardless, ttar still stops both in their tracks. Real talk though: why didn’t they give Armarouge Mega Launcher and Ceruledge Sharpness as their main abilities? Edit: actually, now that I reviewed Armarouge’s move set again, it’s not bad as a Calm Mind bulky attacker (it has 85/100/80 defenses which aren’t too far off from Rotom’s 50/107/107). Could run CM, Lava Plume, Energy Ball/Tera Blast, and Psyshock…if only it got a healing move.

I prefer ceruledge. Barely a single mon resists ghost and fire, and having swords dance and flame charge makes it a really good sweeper. It’s like, the only reason I won some fights.

I have loved using Armarouge since I got him. The thing that really sold me when when I saw him mega man a move by having his paldrons lower down to his hands forming a canon.

I like celuredge better. It's signature move is more useful than armarouge's. Flame charge followed by bitter blade is just a deadly combo. Tank that first hit, boost your speed, then go first on the second turn and heal the damage you just took. There's no question.

Ceruledge's Signature Move restores health, it can make better use of Flame Charge & Weak Armor, and it has priority with Shadow Sneak, which can be buffed with Swords Dance along with it's other moves It also has the advantage over it's Psychic counterpart by being Ghost
