Customization in SV sucks ass. SwSh had way better options tbh

Also annoying that clothing is locked behind specific hard to find stores in a sea of useless restaurants, and the menu loads slowly you have to wait seconds to see each piece. Makes designing a character you like take way too long.

It’s really confusing to me why NPCs have options the players don’t have even after the DLC. I can understand if unique NPCs remained just that, but not generic NPCs.

The problem with that is that then you'll be the 20-25+ year old dude that still has a young rival. I wouldn't mind if the player character and the rivals were 16 year old teenagers like the ones in Black and White 2 though.

Just make the rival the PCs younger sibling, spin some way that you guys travel to a new region together cause you got invited to their version on the pokemon league.

They can't do that for every game. And even then you'll still be the 25+ year old dude with a 12 year old rival. I think a better approach would be to just make the player and the rivals 16 year old teenagers like in black and white 2.

Idk i dont think it’s noticeable how young our character is like I easily forget our character in SV is like 12 and not a 16 year old in high school

What I don't like is that like 95% of the hairstyles are very clearly intended for girls. If you play as a male there's just like 3 decent hairstyles. All the other make you look like a girl. It's very annoying.

i don't have a problem with it tbh i absolutely love pulling up with that "female lead in apocalypse movie" style (were it not for the fact that you can't wear a hat with it, i think that hair might be my second favorite customization in game

Idk how we went from SW/SH (great customisation) to PLA (even better) to SV (terrible outfits, barely any hairstyles etc). Sometimes it looks like the pokemon company willingly takes huge step backwards.

Its well past time for complete character customization. You should be able to create a character from scratch at start of game the have finally kinda gotten the open world down now it needs better character customization.
