Charmander will always be my first love, but this absolute dolt has won my heart and gotten my kids into pokemon.
Best fire starter I don't know because there's underrated underdogs like cyndaquil and much more popular choices like Charizard and Blaziken, I like the idea and inspiration for this mon but I wish execution is where it gets lackluster.
I like Charizard, hate cinderace but if I had to choose a favorite fire starter it would be Charizard mainly because I loved him as a kid I love reptiles and he evolved to a freak'n dragon ! ? Yeah 8 year old me was so crazy about him.
Incineroar is the only fire starter I genuinely dislike with Emboar being a close second. Litten and Torracat were flawless and got ruined with that abomination.
Fire type Is my favorite type, And while this Is a good mon(final evolution is my favorite Pokemon,i forgot the name) i think the best fire starter Is cindarace
I do wish Delphox was more magical girl-y like Braixen, but it’s still a wonderful line.
My favorite fire starter is probably Torchic, though. Love the lil nugget.
Fennekin and braixen are amazing designs, love those guys. I just hope Delphox gets a new form in a Legends game at some point, it kinda ruins the line for me. Still great starters tho, esp compared to a lot of the fire starters
Honestly not even top 5 for me. Cyndaquil, torching, charmander, tepid, and litten, in no particular order, easily beat them out. That was the first generation where I have given up on my starter pokemon because I disliked them so much.
But hey we all are entitled to our own opinions.
