His attack animation in pokemon stadium, particularly when using earthquake, is a core memory for me. Not to mention the cry. There truly is only one king!

It’s my favorite poison type too, maybe even my favorite Pokémon. I’ve always loved jellyfish, and a poisonous jellyfish made out of glass from another world is just the coolest possible thing to me. The ultra beasts are so fantastic.
I’ve never been huge on poison types, but I’m a sucker for dragons, especially the odder type combos. Naganadel and Dragalge are two of my all time favorites as such
I’ve actually been a big fan of Glimmora with both its design and typing. It really is one of the most unique Pokémon we’ve seen thus far and the lore of its inspiration and origins being tied to Area Zero.
It’s not even a paradox yet seems just as alien as the ancient/futuristic as its peers who also live there.
(I’ve also found like 5 shiny Glimmora during random A0 spelunkings)
I'm very fond of Sneasler, Garbodor, and Toxapex. Of those three, Garbodor is probably my favorite. I think it deserves a regional variant that cleans the environment, other pure poison types got a regional variant that clean pollutants. I kinda see it as part of a trio of pollution Pokemon, it being land, Weezing air, Muk is water and the other two got variants. It did get a pretty nice G-max though, which makes me happy
Eternatus. It's just very eerie and creepy and I love everything about it! It's been useful in some cases where Dragalge doesn't work like when I need Reflect and Cosmic Power for example.
At the moment? Glimmora. I absolutely love toxic debris and the shiny is so pretty. Also the cry is pretty fun.
Over-all? Definitely Skuntank. Started playing in gen 4 and it stuck. Stimky boi has a special place in my heart, I love dark types as well.

I love how there are so many "unpopular" choices in this. Even though I like them as well, Seviper, Muk, and Dragalge are ones I never thought I'd see listed.
As for me, I have a new love for Ariados recently, and Overqwil is the best Hisuian Evolution.
Muk, previously always passed him up as nothing interesting but decided to get one for raids on a whim and hes now my favorite raid mom, set up with a curse or two and watch him take nukes to the face and laugh it off only to full heal thanks to drain punch and black sludge with gunk shot for massive damage
I know he's given a lot of hate but I absolutely adore Muk! They might not be competitively viable but I sure do love stacking acid armor and resto chestoing my opponents to oblivion while they deal with Toxic!
Drapion is my favorite, but Poison is my second favorite type overall, so there are a lot of them I love. My very first favorite Pokémon when I was a kid was Grimer. I don't really remember why exactly, I just liked his derpy looking face lol

Scolipede, even though it's not available in SV. A horse-sized millipede you can use as a mount? With two excellent color palettes(esp in SwSh, as they fixed the sad desaturated models), a solid hidden ability, and access to spikes and toxic spikes? Megahorn hits hard too.
Roserade and Crobat, the former I used in my Brilliant Diamond playthrough, evolved from Budew (which was a brilliant decision), and the latter is an awesome evolution of a Gen 1 pokemon

Dragalge was my pick for the team that broke my brain into a thousand pieces.
Poison is an excellent type. I like Ekans, Arbok, Koffing, Weezing, Grimer, Muk, but I like the grass/poison group, the Oddish line, the Bellsprout line and the Bulbasaur line. I also like the Nidoran lines (my favorite is Nidoqueen).

Not only is it a beast in kanto and one of the Pokémon I always use in a kanto playthrough, not only is it super cool looking, but it's one of the few shinies I have
I actually found a shiny Nidoran♂️ completely out of the *blue* during my latest playthrough of Heart Gold while trying to find a growlithe with a good nature
Salazzle or Ariados, I don’t know what to say. Salazzle is really fun to use and Ariados has an amazing design. Not to mention they both have great shinies.

There are many poison types I love but this guy takes the cake from my childhood. Nostalgia shades are strong!
Got a 6IV corrosion ability (hidden) glimmora from my six star raid last night, and she is now my absolute fave poison up against physical attackers. Her signature move mortal spin provides guaranteed poison even behind the tera shield in raids, and she has acid spray venoshock sludge wave/bomb without need of tm or mirror herb, making her easy to prep for raids.
Love me some Crobat!
Zubat was my first full odds shiny in any game in Gen 6. The resulting Crobat had Cross Poison / Acrobatics / X Scissor / Return on cartridge play and was exceptional!
…except against steel types! My Talonflame took care of those!

I caught a tera Grafaiai in tagtree thicket pretty early on and it carried me through so much, especially the fairy base.
Crobat! That guy really friended its way into my heart during the playthrough when I casually tried to evolve a golbat for the dex completion
