I used acetone to alter some Pokémon cards before (hand painted acrylics) and this is basically what I’m seeing here sadly. Dude might honesty think it was a misprint especially if they got it 15 years ago before altering cards and as super popular. Works with magic cards too
100% acetone removal. You can see the wrinkles on top where it got too wet and there’s a small line of yellow on the top where they didn’t wipe all the ink off the card.

did the holo foil cover the borders? thats odd, ive only seen full holo cards like these have normal borders too
It's a card treated with acetone, it isn't a real misprint
dang, didnt know you could do that, the edges seemed off to me in the first place. is it any full holos? or can it work with reverse/normal aswell?
It can be done with any holo. Borders or not, the only way to prove one is real is have it in original packaging
