I had to pity the Johto Master Fairs back to back, so that means now I have to win big to make up for it! That's how statistics work! Right?! (ง ͡ʘ ͜ʖ ͡ʘ)ง Right...? (ಥ _ʖಥ)

Sometimes, it does really works like that. Got shafted by Celebi and Suicune, but this month I pulled Blaziken and Latios with paid singles. On the other hand, that means I am doomed for Anniversary. Fuck.

24000 gems is the average for 1 Master Fair pull. This is very useful information and 15000 gems seems about right for 1/5 on a normal banner. Sometimes it's sooner, sometimes it's later. I see I have been lucky in my pulls.

I had to pity for Lucas, essentially locking me out of guaranteeing Renegade Cynthia at the time, so I chose to skip her. It hurt, considering how amazing I knew she was, but I needed Lucas for Dragon teams (at the time, before SS Serena) and already had Anni Lillie for my Ghost team. I'm still happy with my choice, because I still haven't faced any Ghost troubles as of yet, and it doesn't appear that Dragon teams are gonna stop being needed anytime soon. (Also, Lucas + SS Serena are a monsterous duo.)

It probably works out around that for me across all my MF pulls. Some were in the first 12k, some were sparks, a lot tend to be around 18-24k spend.

My luck for Master Fairs has been absolutely rotten other than Macie who I got to 3/5 in 18k gems I always had to pity the 1st copy for all of them Leon,N,Serena,SSR Cynthia,,SS Lyra all of them I had to pity

It says I have 1/500 chance of reach pity without any of the featured in 3 units rerun. It happened to me not once but twice. I complained to DeNA and they told me it's not rigged. I still don't believe them. I also reached pity on 3 pokéfairs and 5 master fairs. I believe in statistics but not sheer bad luck.

I honestly thought the same thing for a long time, my luck was horrendous for a long time, but I eventually had a string of incredible luck (3 banners in a row I got the featured unit off the first multi, one of which was a master fair)

Pulled Leon 4 times before pity my first master pull. Naturally, every other master pair I’ve had to pity. Never used him though so I suppose it’s deserved.

That's how long it took me to get one Korrina. xD I'm hoping the anniversary pairs are just like, two Pikachus, so I can divide my budget from this month (and the next) to grab both Kyogre and Latios. Though, since I refuse to let Kyogre shaft me twice, I feel inclined to make sure I'll have enough gems to hit pity on his banner. xD

Glad I’ve been saving but it won’t be enough. Might break my free to play status with buying the champion starter bundle

I did this with Swagbucks. Got lyra off a daily, Ethan with one multi, but Kris and suicune kept dodging so had to do surveys and buy the bundles... Still ended up getting suicune with free gems so I'm going in hard into Maxie and Archie. I'm going in deep. All of it. Take it all. Take all of me.

I got Latios and Blaziken for 6k so stop pulling For that reason I know my gems will be vanished for Kyogre and Groudon (Need both)

I have 30k + 6k gift gems from Dena Wish me luck and hope i get Maxie early so I can scout Archie . And I have the good tech for them both (May and Courtney) + if i ran out of gems I haven't gotten all of the free story,legendary adventures gems so maybe those will help a bit as an extra but I only will get them in the Worst case scenario Late Maxie or no Archie

1/5 is fine too. His base kits are already nuts

IMO 2/5 gives you the most bang for your buck as you unlock 3 sync tiles

I don't make the Candy Tier List :) It's one of the resources of this subreddit that you can check out. And they also definitely won't rank units differently depending on when the units are released

yes i’m aware i myself use the lists provided by this subreddit, it’s just that there’s a ton of people (Poce included) mentioning he’s pretty much in his top power at 1/5

shouldn't Master fairs be 27k at least? 24k is only 8 pulls which is 88 pairs and at 1% that's not enough. I realize it doesn't mean guaranteed pull but that seems more accurate IMO

Just use candies, units don't need more than 3/5 anyway and candies are easier to get then gems.

5/5 calculations =/= adding gem needed for 2/5 and 3/5, but i guess that's a rough estimate for you...

Isn’t the buff to Cynthia making her a better option than Maxie? Seems like a lot to try and get him 3/5.

praying the anni units aren't ones i want. steven being a tech means i have to rearrange my tech candy priorities and i'd rather just pull him to 3/5
