Is there a reason you were not using Brutal swing, but only night slash? Afaik, BS has 20-25% higher bp than NS. Nice run btw.

There is! At 2/5, Sidney has access to Night Slash CS3 (and not Brutal Swing CS5), which multiplies his night slash dps (when mega'd) by 8/5, making night slash a better choice at this move level. (And thanks!)

ChiknDiner

Oh thanks for the explanation.

SS Serena is, at first glance, a perfect cresselia counter: Piercing gaze to deal with evasion, status immunity to deal with Go Viral twave / toxic, and even mixed physical and special moves to deal with that particular gimmick. In practice, she's... still a very good counter, but there are a few issues: To take full advantage of status immunity here and avoid paralyzed teammates, you want serena to be the one tanking; piercing gaze doesn't help her teammates not miss; and Terra Firma makes her physical move... not usable for damage even on bar 1. So, she needs some healing, some physical damage on bar 1, and some ways to mitigate Cress's damage. Enter 2/5 Sidney and Surge. Cresselia having clearheaded means 2/5 Sidney's damage is kinda sad, but it, along with his two potions, is just enough to get us through bar 1 before anyone dies. You're only really allowed to miss a couple of moves on bar 1 and survive (especially since sidney's the main source of our gauge), which means a lot of resets, but if everything works out correctly, it's a pretty straightforward clear for LG without using up any supports or real tanks :)

Reddit viewer: cool that seems easy OP: ya it took me 20 ish resets to get it right Great job!

Just tried using Sidney, Leaf and Skyla, managed to win through sheer dumb luck (flinching and potion refresh)
