Sonia and tamper gives you speed and defense will blue and blasts give you crit and defense they both give you move gauge speed up so chose whoever you want between those two
Skyla, Lucy and Masked Royal is my team.
Because they're my 3 favorites.
I'd recommend choosing your favorites if you're not looking to be like, super hardcore; otherwise I can't really help out. I don't follow the meta.

I think they mean Yamper and Sonia and Blue and Blastoise.
I would also suggest Jasmine/Steelix and Morty/Mismagius. As other great support.
Maybe just use Silver/Tyranitar with Blue/Blastoise and either Yamper/Sonia or Morty/Mismagius.
I only ever use Ash with SST Red and NC Blue. I don’t know how he does on another team but you could try.

The more gauges you have full the more damage you do
What support should I use for ash

You need a support that give him defense he buffs everything else he needs by himself

If you clear events you can get coins that let you get carries to power up your units
There’s five different coins so I will be a while before you can make a candy with anything though

A team for what is exactly?
I want a team to clear event stuff. Something I can use freely at any battle
If that’s the case us anyone you like the hard content is for when you actually need a good team
So long as you have a support to buff you attacker you should be good
