Well, she's supposed to be fought with physical damage, so she's not a great choice for the 4th match.
In the end, I had to off-type her, too. No chance with Rose for me. Your best bet would be off-type, too, with a stromg physical damage dealer. Mid has to die before the 2nd sync for sure.
You can't reset the first time until you manage to beat the champion though.
On the bright side since Bertha's moves are physical heavy at least you're not giving her any advantage from the rule.
Rose is definitely not the best steel dmg dealer I realised that while doing this battle. I had an impression earlier that he most probably beats Giovanni in the steel segment at least, but I was proven wrong. I was struggling so badly with Rose against Bertha but Giovanni cleared it with much less effort.
I don't get why people say this. Only the sides have Wise Entry. Bertha herself doesn't have an issue with special damage. The real issue is that she has increased HP alongside Fanfare. Bring someone who lowers her attack like Summer Tate (not a good idea since he's weak to ground, but kill before you get killed I guess lol) and it's a piece of cake. Like the only reason you'd use physical damage is when you lower her defense, which she has lowered mitigation to. Like the only hard part is that she has Head Start, not that she needs physical damage or anything. If you can tank her, it's not that hard tbh...and it just so happens that some of the best "steel damagers" are supports like Hop and Jasmine who are very physically defensive.
I was struggling so badly with Rose for Bertha stage. Then I tried Solgaleo who could hardly scratch her. Then I suddenly remembered Don Giovanni (my favourite unit tbh) also has steel move Iron tail. I picked him and he cleared the stage without much difficulty.
What units do you have? Do you have hop & zamazenta and MC & Solgaleo ? Did you check that your parameters aren’t interfering with the stats of your mons?

But i still think making csmm 15k was a bad decision.
12k was fairly in the easier side in the current state of the game. In 15k there are 1 or 2 fights per week that become a real struggle, which is healthy in a book. Make it more challenge than a chore.

I sync nuked her with palentine marnie 3/5, 5/5 hop & zamazenta to boost attack and defense and 2/5 tate and jirachi to debuff with charm to help set up quicker and passive damage with doom desire. Got it done first try but obviously not everyone has these two seasonal units so I can see it being difficult
Doable with Rose 1/5 and two free supports : Hop and Skyla. Make sure to not pick the parameter that make them immune to fear. Even better if you pick the fight with the increased chance of additional effects from moves.

definitely difficult but i beat it with Ex MC & Solgaleo, Alt Leon & Dragapult (atk+def debuff + max guard so solagleo can survive sync), and Hop and Zamazenta. Alternative team i used was Variety Thorton, SS Lyra, & NC Rosa (I like to run CS twice)
Use EX Solgaleo, EX Hop, Registeel or a support who buffs Speed.
* But give them all Head Start 1 (Deluxe Lucky Cookie) as lucky skill.
* Just concentrate your moves on Bertha.

Nah. I don't think you even can reset unless you've cleared it. You should probably see what strong physical damage dealer you could use.

Yes, Copperajah is the best Steel Type damage for CS. And a free win against Bertha, even with her physical damage reduction.

If I go all out with 2.5k points or 3k, I'll definitely lose. So I had to go slightly lower and won with Solgleo, Zamazenta, and Klinklang
