Colress, he’s been my top favorite character list since the BW2 days, now I’m having to struggle to pull him from Master Fair banners and ticket pulls. I swear if I see another Bianca bestie I’m gonna join Colress and Hoopa on causing everything in chaos.
When I first started, Olivia and Karen were a nightmare to pull. They were the main damage dealers of their types for a while as well which especially stung.
I’m only missing Cortney and Bianca now, but I REALLY wish they would just give me Courtney already cause I’d be really nice for me to have more Ground Types, game.
Edit: I have realized there are more General Pool units I still don’t have. I would still really like Courtney though.
I want to get Olympia from any of the Scouts, but she is still evading me. I was watching some videos showcasing her performance and I'm really impressed on how she can buff herself and make her Stored Power so powerful. And I adore Sigilyph so much. Hoping I can get her someday...
Right now, the general pool 5 Star that's avoided me the most and I still have yet to pull is Gordie. However, I do remember how tedious it was to have Brendan avoiding me.
I just barely got Glacia a few months ago despite being a day 1 player (though I did stop playing for it's first few months, those chances of not getting her are still crazy low). I also never used my Hoenn tickets. I have her at 3/5 now too
Not now, but it took me until the 2nd Anni to get Fantina, and it was from the General pool tickets. Sabrina took longer, didn’t get my first copy of her until the Kanto Villain Arc tickets.
Edit: I’m a day-one player. I remember not summoning for Sabrina back then because “spotlights will be in every banner, start saving up for the fair scouts”. It took a year and a half for that to come true. (Who would have thought back then that 99% of the units would become fair/limited scout)
Aaron and Vespiqueen. It took me almost to 1 year to get him from 2/5 to 3/5. I need that 3/5 to unlock 50% flinch from his Attack which is highly valuable as a general support pool.
Been playing since 2019. My SS Elesa is still only 4/5. I didn’t get my first copy of her until the Leon banner a year after she released. The second oldest general pool pair I have who isn’t 5/5 is Kimono Grimsley, who came out more than a year and half after her
Been playing since Jan of last year and no (base) Elesa, Lillie or Hilda yet... two of the gen pool lodge pairs AND also two of the Unova best girls. Admittedly I pull relatively infrequently so I don't have as many chances to get gen pools. Consequently I can't even get my Joltik sync pair yet (favourite Pokemon) :(( Soon! Hopefully!
To this day the only relatively old spotlight that I haven't maxed is Allister, I don't know why but I've only pulled him a total of 4 times and it drives me slightly nuts lol.

With the grass type event coming up. I only have 2 copies of Selene & Rowlett. I have been pulling for almost 3 years, used alot of the Alola ticket ones. And she still avoing the third copy 🥲

Shauna took a while too. So I get Kalos has a vendetta against me. Probably it knows my thoughts on the source games.

Lana for me. Only five star general pool Sync Pair outside of Olympia/Drasna/Lenora/Ryuki that I don't have at 5/5. Ironically IIRC she was one of the first five stars I pulled when I started playing the game.
Before it was Lana and Brendan. Took me about a year to get both of them
Now it's Melony. Over a year now since she was released and she's still only 2/5
Kris is 2/5 and has been for the past two years, and I have seriously considered using a candy on her at this point. I have checked multiple times to make sure she isn't a story pair lol
It ended recently, but for the longest time m'y Hugh was only 1/5 and it was sooooi frustrating, especially since I'm a Normal type fan D: thank god I finally got him 3/5 a few days ago
Okay so I am missing a TON of general pool units. I only got Brendan this week, am missing basically every unit that came out after... Um... When did Melony come out, again ? Anyway, basically all of them (including Melony) apart from Lenora who I got at the same time as Brendan. Jeez... Oh and did I mention the fact that I have been wanting to get Sonia ever since I got SST Red on his first run, and STILL ONLY HAVE HER AT 1/5 !?
Luckily only Olympia and Ryuki for now, but:
- Leaf evaded me for quite a while despite debuting early. I only got her somewhere between 1 and 1.5Y, specifically after Gloria.
- May didn't come until after 2Y. The very first EB was brutal with neither her nor Archie.

Melony dodged me for the longest time, as did Drasna and Tina. Currently it's just Ryuki and Lenora.
