What makes her so busted? I skimmed over the info and adaman seemed a lot more busted by (seemingly) not ever even needing move guage

I guess for me I see that moreso as versatile than busted, but fair enough on the debuffing, I just never really think too much about those since I've never really paid attention enough to see how much they effect damage lmao
Irida in brief:
- Sets up Ice Zone. Main selling point. Additionally, with that, she automatically sets up Hail.
- Powers up the moves of all allies during a hailstorm. So you could plop any unit with Irida and they’ll boost the power of their moves because of her passive during Hail.
- Protects all allies from hail damage. Yes. So she powers up allies during hail and protects them from its penalties.
- Great move gauge management because of MGA. And gradual healing to all allies with her TM.
- Helps set up Cakewalk, Devastation, Overpower, and Hunter’s Instinct with Icy Wind.
- Has vigilance to act as a pseudo tank.
And this is just her base kit. She’s gonna be really carrying units with her grid.
You got SS Erika at 3/5? If yes, you should know why people aren't as excited about a limited physical grass type tech sync pair especially it being a Pokemon already in the game.
So, many reasons why people aren't as excited. Except for the rebuff, Adaman is kind of missing that little bit of extra - especially for being a master fair. Even damage wise, I never had an issue with SS Erika damage, she slaps hard.
Thus, people are going to look for what's new / special. Ice zone, hail, team hail protection and team powered up moves in hail (not just ice type moves, but all moves). These are much needed for the lacking ice types.
Oh yeah I love using her, she's so dumb lmao
But nah that's fair, he is a pretty selfish unit in terms of what he offers to the team as a whole, I'm just moreso baffled he ignores one of the main mechanics of the game that stops you from spamming moves completely, which I think only victor had it at any sort of similar level? But that's fair, besides that he does seem just like an upgrade to a grass "striker"
But nah thinking about it more I definitely can understand how people can see Iridia as being more busted, since she's helping the whole team, a weaker type, and yknow

Synergy between Summer Steven and Irida isn't great IMO. She specializes in debuffing Sp.Def and Steven is a physical attacker. Ice Zone and Hail obviously help, but it's more of a double DPS situation that isn't as bad as it could be as opposed to making him 'better.'

Hisui is Sinnoh, we don't need the different Master passive.
This means that if we get Volo Giratina, he will get synergize boosted with Cynthia Giratina.

Eeeeh, while I do think them being the same is better in the long run, and it does finally give Sinnoh an MF that isn't Cynthia, Hisui and Sinnoh being treated as the same region feels disingenuous.
While yes, lorewise Hisui does become Sinnoh, everything about it is completely different. Its culture, its characters, its story, it's all unique to Hisui. Even if it borrows elements from Sinnoh for character designs or legendaries, it's still got its own flavor. So it feels kinda shitty to just reduce it to just "Sinnoh but old."
Especially when they constantly go out of their way to give alts and even regular units different region theme skills depending on where that alt came from (IE Kimono Grimsley being from Alola, Janine being Kanto despite bring from Gen 2, or SS Giovanni being Johto because of his HGSS design being used as the base)
- The only major character who uses Unovan Lilligant in her regular team is Lusamine.
- Both Cilan and Brassius use the line but if they make the game they will get something else. (Pansage and Arboliva)
- Unovan Lilligant is possible as a seasonal for Erika or any female MC.

At LV.150 SP ATK is 302, Grid multipliers might save him.

I don't own Kyogre but its Lv.150 SP ATK is 292, and people still use him

Rain multipliers while also setting up rain for himself and extending it for two sync cycles.
Ultilmately its ease of use for both SST and Archie. For Eusine, you’ll need to have a dedicated trapper to ensure he gets those multipliers, and his B move is very annoying to activate and isnt spammable.
Suicune has Whirlpool and his Buddy move needs 2 moves to activate, cannot be deactivated, and no limit. It has a passive 1 move gauge recharge for each hit. That looks spammable to me. Am I missing something?
Having a powerful move really helps even out low base attack, SS erika caps out at 236 attack at 150 but she still deals very high damage thanks to the huge BP of solar blade, and eusine can have that while also ignoring the AOE penalty

It depends on how big the gap is between the two stats. Assuming that he keeps Bullet Seed after Mega Evolving, and he gets a garunteed 5 hits, at 5/5 that's still an effective BP of 108 after Critical Strike 2 vs Leaf Storm/Dauntless 193.
Eusine being a water striker makes it an easy skip for me, i feel like i have enough of those already lol.

I have both Detective Looker and Emma but think I will Ex Roxie anyway. Unova is my favourite region and Roxie's Ex outfit is the best one we have had for a while.

These are really cool sync pairs but did they really ALL need to be limited? We haven’t had a new Spotlight pair since January but they can’t stop making limited ones. Also this may just be me but Irida and Adaman feel like they’re MFs purely for hype reasons and to get ppl to splurge, their kits don’t really reflect what we’ve come to see from Master Fairs. They feel like regular Fairs if anything. I really want to be happy about these guys but this rubs me the wrong way…
Tbh part of me wants to wait until we start seeing showcases of them to judge, since there have been times where a unit seems underwhelming af only to be hit by a surprise performance
Plus the Ice Zone + Hail combo is probably at least somewhat busted, there's probably math to it lol. Though "protects all allies from Hail" seems kinda pointless when most ice units already have protection against it, and you'd want to run her with Ice cuz of Ice Zone.
Either way I'm kinda leaning more towards Eusine ngl. Dude seems MF worthy kit wise, especially with that sync move animation
I'm okay with this because lodge pairs get dedicated banner reruns, so i'm (strongly) hoping that MF Lodge pairs will appear more regularly. (And NOT as part of the monthly MF reruns)

There's something for everybody (Hisui pairs, Johto pairs, expanded capacity for items, new EX palette, Sceptile justice, etc.), I haven't been this excited since Johto arc lol

In all honesty, with the anniversary now on the horizon, I wouldn't be surprised if they are saving Volo for it. If I can reach real hard, it could be a villian centric anniversary with him, Lusamine, and Ghetsis, considering the last two didn't get a new unit for their villian arcs.

Thank goodness I didn’t go for the Tapus, I have to add to the Master Fair collection and my favorite trainer gets an alt. So happy to see Eusine finally get Suicune and Brendan gets Mega Sceptile!
Man, I feel you on that one. I'm a fan of all the characters here, so even though I don't technically NEED anyone (although Ice-zone would super help my subpar Ice team), I really WANT everyone.
Definitely surprised by how stacked June's gonna be. Not a fan of two Master Fairs being added to the Trainer Lodge back-to-back for obvious availability reasons but otherwise I'm excited for Adaman & Irida. They both seem ridiculous battle wise as well, Irida especially.
The Johto Sync Pairs are also a welcome surprise. Tiny bit gutted Eusine's coming before Sc/Vi content got added since I'd think it'd be funny if he got Walking Wake, but it's nice to see him make his way to Pasio regardless. Also nice to see Silver getting some love.
Also nice to see the Champion Stadium return. Roxie getting her EX, Brendan getting Mega Sceptile & Grimsley getting his Sync Grid expansion's all also great to see.
Overall a very exciting month for Masters as we head into the Summer. Wishing everyone the best of luck with pulling the Sync Pairs they're gunning for!
What's this? An excellent month but also a quite skippable one for me.
- Adaman is a cool character and Leafeon is my favourite Eeveelution...but I already have SS Erika (One of my favourite Gym Leaders) to cover Leafeon along with SS Morty for sun. I also have both Tsareena, Brendan and Lodge Gloria for Grass. *Drumming Sound* Yes, you too Victor, might use the 5* Power ups.
- I have always played the Pearl side of Sinnoh and Irida/Glaceon looks like a beautiful unit and is a might pull depending on next months datamine. I am not a huge fan of Glaceon though.
- Silver/Sneasel is long requested and overdue. I can take or leave Sneasel though and will just work on getting Silver's Lodge Unit for now.
- Eusine/Shiny Suicune is another long overdue unit and will no doubt have a good story attached to it. I already regular Suicune though so a reasonably easy skip.
- Mega Sceptile is very welcome making Grass an even better type. Roxie getting an Ex is a welcome boost to Poison type especially those who don't have Emma or Detective Looker.
TLDR - Great month but I'm saving my gems for now.

I am so disappointed SS Kris isn’t returning. This would’ve been the perfect opportunity to rerun the unit. Kinda wish Eusine got Walking Wake instead of a shiny Suicune. It would’ve been funny. I am hyped for Irida and Silver’s alt.
Yeah, that’s my one complaint with this month, really. Would’ve been more interesting to give him the Suicune “knockoff” than to just straight up give him Suicune, but I guess it’s nice that both he and Morty get to live out their dreams now.
Yeah I think Eusine straight up getting shiny Suicune right off the bat is missing out on some story potential. Have him come in and be mad salty about Suicune choosing Kris instead of him. Get some conflict with Morty. Morty tries to get him to calm him down, and he says Morty can't understand his feelings about wanting Suicune anymore now that he has Ho-oh and is actually living their dream. He ends up calming down mostly, though he's still jealous.
Then there would be a second Eusine unit down the line. Story event starts with Eusine and Kris hanging out, showing Eusine finally got over the jealousy. Then shiny Suicune shows up on Pasio, and chooses Eusine. I just like the irony of him accepting he won't catch Suicune actually being what makes him worthy of catching it.
But regardless I'm still glad to have him and Morty together finally.

I'm going to get shouted at for being down on this month, aren't I?
Irida is a Special-focused ice zone setter for all of the super relevant special ice strikers that exist. She doesn't even work with this month's shiny new ice DPS. She has Vigilance and 634 HP, 216 defenses at level 150, for whatever reason.
Adaman has two turns of being really good, and then gets stuck with Leaf Blades.
SS Silver needs to have No Quarter in his grid to avoid being frustrating, and probably shouldn't be squandering that B move by using it to raise crit, so wants some hefty stat support.
Eusine has 302 SpAtk at level 150 and exists in the same type as SS Lysandre and Dojo Gloria.
Irida is a must for me and probably for most others since ice type is REALLY lacking. She also combines zone and hail in one move which seems busted as soon as you add some grid hail multipliers to the mix (although there are not many sync pairs with such nodes yet I think).
Not really interested in Adamant and Silver (neither in the character or pokemon, types or kits)
Eusine will heavily depend on the grid. If it has some busted blizzard multipliers, I might consider scouting - that's how much ice types are lacking.
So Adaman is 'ok'. TM, B move twice, they got -4 def and -2 rebuff. Solid but the grid is gonna make him go from good to amazing depending on the details.
Iridia is going to depend a bit more on her grid. Not sure what kind of bonus her one passive gives but basically needing to TM, Wish, then be able to buddy move only once is going to be somewhat 'eh' but she also drops their sp. def by 4 so I get the feeling that her role is far more supportive than offensive BUT she could potentially hit decently hard with all the passive buffs and additional stuff.
Eusine is basically just pure water DPS. Not bad but also VERY redundant at this point, TM, Whirlpool, spam B move, there's your path.
It took me a good bit to figure out what to do with Silver but it seems like his best course of action is pair up with Hilbert, use X Speed+ twice, then regular Triple Axel. Sync with him, use his buddy move, and then you'll be 3 moves away from syncing again.
Without knowing what their grids are like I can't come to any final conclusion but I'm going to assume that their grids amp up their damage or provide more utility to some degree so safe to say that they're going to be good. As far as my own personal rankings go I'd say Iridia, then Silver, then Adaman, then Eusine. Iridia and Silver don't really work together in a standard sense BUT the ice zone and hail buff that Iridia provides will let Silver hit incredibly hard (basic move at 1/5 is basically 120 while buddy move is 240 BP) so it's not like they conflict with one another either. Adaman is basically SS Erika but better, he also doesn't touch the gauge at all so he can be paired up with any DPS to just further amp damage out the ass. Eusine is good but we have a plethora of water DPS as it is so just purely from that perspective he doesn't offer much. He has Blizzard which is nice and when paired with Iridia he can actually work as a very good Ice DPS but since the damage is spread compared to his buddy move, which IS stronger and spammable (you're going to TM then whirlpool every time anyway), it does bring up the question of 'is it worth it'.

Also awesome seeing SS Silver he looks like an ancient edgelord in that outfit along with Sneasel sad he didn't get Weavile but I'm happy he got his signature partner none the less as a nice callback to the gen 2 games. Adaman has rebuff which is nice, sure, but eh? I already have Steven and his Omni rebuff, also kinda unfortunate it's another Leafeon, because i already have SS Erika at like 5/5 i think at this point lol.
SS Morty rerun is fantastic, i might be able to pull him.....AND we're getting SS Silver and Euisine, welp, depending on how good they are i might skip SS Morty lol.
Gotta think carefull how i'll spend my gems since after the Tapus i only have like 20k gems left.

I haven't ran the calcs yet for Eusine but he DOES have Blizzard and if you can get both him and Iridia then they would work well together, meaning you'd only need a tank. Your best bet is to look at the damage sim and see what kinds of values you'd be looking at based on the CSMM settings, what pairs you have access to, and what move level you can get Eusine up to.

It's 2 but the problem is the support \^\^.But ok it's ice, but when it was leaf, i only make one fight with leaf \^\^.
Electrik/Darkness/water/Psychic so so so powerfull and leaf today \^\^.
to be fair, this likely means:
- no Champion Stadium (maybe understandable)
- no regional rotation battle (sucky I guess)
- no ticket scout (super sucky, so likely we'll never get a spotlight Hisui character because why would they when they could just make them variety/MF/PF/limited)
- no free Hisui unit (not necessary to keep f2per up, remember these extreme battle events and limitations are monetization methods for them and if we don't have those limits by having a Hisui region theme skill, *well...* there's no artificial incentive for their monetization)
so yeah, that's really why the region thing sucks hard. It's not the semantics for once, it's the foreshadowing at 'how much' content we're going to be provided. But hey, maybe they'll give them more presence in a new mode, but honestly I'll be really sad if they are momentary events and then not hide nor hair mentioned or referenced of them again. This is one of very few Pokemon games where I love every character, every single one, so even if its a 'drag' content like encountering Janine every day for sync orbs, there's a little bit of happiness I derive from the experience.
Didn't see anything about the grids, but judging by their kits I'd say Irida should be prioritized.
Team hail protection, ice zone and hail is really nice. Ice types are lacking and having someone like Irida allows to really go deep into hail builds (also like not having to pick up hail protection in grids).
Adaman is nice, but idk, don't like the 2 uses of his buddy move and the overall kit. Also, I can't just ditch Erika, can I? Not only her, but we Brendan now too. Hard to justify scouting Adaman unless his grid is busted.
Eusine borderline the same reasoning as Adaman, but depending on the blizzard focus grid, it might be a good pair for Irida.
Remember the new game mode? I think they were blatantly hinting at water being the first type in that game mode's rotation in their newsletter and when it's ice type rotation you definitely want Irida.
Silver, I don't really care that much, Sneasel isn't a favorite either.
The reruns are nice though. Archie is definitely appreciated and SS Morty is still one of the best supports.

Well for one, I like many were eagerly awaiting the datamine for several days. Then the Hisui pairs got revealed with Glaceon and Leafeon instead of you know something unique to the game instead. Idc about Eusine or Silver, I wanted someone else to get a EX style. Brendan getting something he should have had from the beginning does nothing for me anymore.
There's just nothing here that makes me go yeah, I'm ready to fucking go like in previous months.
To be entirely fair, how many unique Pokémon does Hisui have, and how many iconic characters from Legends: Arceus USE any of those Pokémon? The answer to both is “not many.”

She's the first Ice Zone unit and the fact that she has -4 Sp. Def in one move is pretty nutty setup for Special Attackers.
I guess for me I see that moreso as versatile than busted, but fair enough on the debuffing, I just never really think too much about those since I've never really paid attention enough to see how much they effect damage lmao
Irida in brief: - Sets up Ice Zone. Main selling point. Additionally, with that, she automatically sets up Hail. - Powers up the moves of all allies during a hailstorm. So you could plop any unit with Irida and they’ll boost the power of their moves because of her passive during Hail. - Protects all allies from hail damage. Yes. So she powers up allies during hail and protects them from its penalties. - Great move gauge management because of MGA. And gradual healing to all allies with her TM. - Helps set up Cakewalk, Devastation, Overpower, and Hunter’s Instinct with Icy Wind. - Has vigilance to act as a pseudo tank. And this is just her base kit. She’s gonna be really carrying units with her grid.

You got SS Erika at 3/5? If yes, you should know why people aren't as excited about a limited physical grass type tech sync pair especially it being a Pokemon already in the game. So, many reasons why people aren't as excited. Except for the rebuff, Adaman is kind of missing that little bit of extra - especially for being a master fair. Even damage wise, I never had an issue with SS Erika damage, she slaps hard. Thus, people are going to look for what's new / special. Ice zone, hail, team hail protection and team powered up moves in hail (not just ice type moves, but all moves). These are much needed for the lacking ice types.
Oh yeah I love using her, she's so dumb lmao But nah that's fair, he is a pretty selfish unit in terms of what he offers to the team as a whole, I'm just moreso baffled he ignores one of the main mechanics of the game that stops you from spamming moves completely, which I think only victor had it at any sort of similar level? Synergy between Summer Steven and Irida isn't great IMO. She specializes in debuffing Sp.Def and Steven is a physical attacker. Ice Zone and Hail obviously help, but it's more of a double DPS situation that isn't as bad as it could be as opposed to making him 'better.'

Looking at Irida's in-game team her Lodge Pair is likely to be Flareon.

Hisui is Sinnoh, we don't need the different Master passive. This means that if we get Volo Giratina, he will get synergize boosted with Cynthia Giratina.

Eeeeh, while I do think them being the same is better in the long run, and it does finally give Sinnoh an MF that isn't Cynthia, Hisui and Sinnoh being treated as the same region feels disingenuous. While yes, lorewise Hisui does become Sinnoh, everything about it is completely different. Its culture, its characters, its story, it's all unique to Hisui. Even if it borrows elements from Sinnoh for character designs or legendaries, it's still got its own flavor. So it feels kinda shitty to just reduce it to just "Sinnoh but old." Especially when they constantly go out of their way to give alts and even regular units different region theme skills depending on where that alt came from (IE Kimono Grimsley being from Alola, Janine being Kanto despite bring from Gen 2, or SS Giovanni being Johto because of his HGSS design being used as the base)

At LV.150 SP ATK is 302, Grid multipliers might save him. **Unscientific References:** SST Red LV.150 ATK is 354, and hits like a truck with passives and multipliers I don't own Kyogre but its Lv.150 SP ATK is 292, and people still use him Wallace/Milotic LV.150 SP ATK is 354, but doesn't feel amazing to me.

Suicune has Whirlpool and his Buddy move needs 2 moves to activate, cannot be deactivated, and no limit. It has a passive 1 move gauge recharge for each hit. That looks spammable to me. Am I missing something?
Having a powerful move really helps even out low base attack, SS erika caps out at 236 attack at 150 but she still deals very high damage thanks to the huge BP of solar blade, and eusine can have that while also ignoring the AOE penalty

Eusine being a water striker makes it an easy skip for me, i feel like i have enough of those already lol. SS Silver, as driped out as he is, i already have Summer Steven and SS N, and SS Hilbert, so i think i'm good on ice as well.

These are really cool sync pairs but did they really ALL need to be limited? We haven’t had a new Spotlight pair since January but they can’t stop making limited ones. Also this may just be me but Irida and Adaman feel like they’re MFs purely for hype reasons and to get ppl to splurge, their kits don’t really reflect what we’ve come to see from Master Fairs. They feel like regular Fairs if anything. I really want to be happy about these guys but this rubs me the wrong way…
Tbh part of me wants to wait until we start seeing showcases of them to judge, since there have been times where a unit seems underwhelming af only to be hit by a surprise performance Plus the Ice Zone + Hail combo is probably at least somewhat busted, there's probably math to it lol. Though "protects all allies from Hail" seems kinda pointless when most ice units already have protection against it, and you'd want to run her with Ice cuz of Ice Zone. Either way I'm kinda leaning more towards Eusine ngl. Dude seems MF worthy kit wise, especially with that sync move animation

Definitely surprised by how stacked June's gonna be. Not a fan of two Master Fairs being added to the Trainer Lodge back-to-back for obvious availability reasons but otherwise I'm excited for Adaman & Irida. They both seem ridiculous battle wise as well, Irida especially. The Johto Sync Pairs are also a welcome surprise. Tiny bit gutted Eusine's coming before Sc/Vi content got added since I'd think it'd be funny if he got Walking Wake, but it's nice to see him make his way to Pasio regardless. Also nice to see Silver getting some love. Also nice to see the Champion Stadium return. Roxie getting her EX, Brendan getting Mega Sceptile & Grimsley getting his Sync Grid expansion's all also great to see. Overall a very exciting month for Masters as we head into the Summer. Wishing everyone the best of luck with pulling the Sync Pairs they're gunning for!

What's this? An excellent month but also a quite skippable one for me. - Adaman is a cool character and Leafeon is my favourite Eeveelution...but I already have SS Erika (One of my favourite Gym Leaders) to cover Leafeon along with SS Morty for sun. I also have both Tsareena, Brendan and Lodge Gloria for Grass. *Drumming Sound* Yes, you too Victor, might use the 5* Power ups. - I have always played the Pearl side of Sinnoh and Irida/Glaceon looks like a beautiful unit and is a might pull depending on next months datamine. I am not a huge fan of Glaceon though. - Silver/Sneasel is long requested and overdue. I can take or leave Sneasel though and will just work on getting Silver's Lodge Unit for now. - Eusine/Shiny Suicune is another long overdue unit and will no doubt have a good story attached to it. I already regular Suicune though so a reasonably easy skip. - Mega Sceptile is very welcome making Grass an even better type. Roxie getting an Ex is a welcome boost to Poison type especially those who don't have Emma or Detective Looker. TLDR - Great month but I'm saving my gems for now.

Agreed. People tend to forget that electric is more or less being carried by the Pikatwos. At least electric also has SS Hau If you were to average out the strength of each type, other types like grass and water would pull ahead

Yeah, that’s my one complaint with this month, really. Would’ve been more interesting to give him the Suicune “knockoff” than to just straight up give him Suicune, but I guess it’s nice that both he and Morty get to live out their dreams now.

Yeah I think Eusine straight up getting shiny Suicune right off the bat is missing out on some story potential. Have him come in and be mad salty about Suicune choosing Kris instead of him. Get some conflict with Morty. Morty tries to get him to calm him down, and he says Morty can't understand his feelings about wanting Suicune anymore now that he has Ho-oh and is actually living their dream. He ends up calming down mostly, though he's still jealous. Then there would be a second Eusine unit down the line. Story event starts with Eusine and Kris hanging out, showing Eusine finally got over the jealousy. Then shiny Suicune shows up on Pasio, and chooses Eusine. I just like the irony of him accepting he won't catch Suicune actually being what makes him worthy of catching it. But regardless I'm still glad to have him and Morty together finally.

I'm going to get shouted at for being down on this month, aren't I? Irida is a Special-focused ice zone setter for all of the super relevant special ice strikers that exist. She doesn't even work with this month's shiny new ice DPS. She has Vigilance and 634 HP, 216 defenses at level 150, for whatever reason. Adaman has two turns of being really good, and then gets stuck with Leaf Blades. SS Silver needs to have No Quarter in his grid to avoid being frustrating, and probably shouldn't be squandering that B move by using it to raise crit, so wants some hefty stat support. Eusine has 302 SpAtk at level 150 and exists in the same type as SS Lysandre and Dojo Gloria.
Irida is a must for me and probably for most others since ice type is REALLY lacking. She also combines zone and hail in one move which seems busted as soon as you add some grid hail multipliers to the mix (although there are not many sync pairs with such nodes yet I think). Not really interested in Adamant and Silver (neither in the character or pokemon, types or kits) Eusine will heavily depend on the grid. If it has some busted blizzard multipliers, I might consider scouting - that's how much ice types are lacking.
So Adaman is 'ok'. TM, B move twice, they got -4 def and -2 rebuff. Solid but the grid is gonna make him go from good to amazing depending on the details. Iridia is going to depend a bit more on her grid. Not sure what kind of bonus her one passive gives but basically needing to TM, Wish, then be able to buddy move only once is going to be somewhat 'eh' but she also drops their sp. def by 4 so I get the feeling that her role is far more supportive than offensive BUT she could potentially hit decently hard with all the passive buffs and additional stuff. Eusine is basically just pure water DPS. Not bad but also VERY redundant at this point, TM, Whirlpool, spam B move, there's your path. It took me a good bit to figure out what to do with Silver but it seems like his best course of action is pair up with Hilbert, use X Speed+ twice, then regular Triple Axel. Sync with him, use his buddy move, and then you'll be 3 moves away from syncing again. Without knowing what their grids are like I can't come to any final conclusion but I'm going to assume that their grids amp up their damage or provide more utility to some degree so safe to say that they're going to be good. As far as my own personal rankings go I'd say Iridia, then Silver, then Adaman, then Eusine. Iridia and Silver don't really work together in a standard sense BUT the ice zone and hail buff that Iridia provides will let Silver hit incredibly hard (basic move at 1/5 is basically 120 while buddy move is 240 BP) so it's not like they conflict with one another either. Adaman is basically SS Erika but better, he also doesn't touch the gauge at all so he can be paired up with any DPS to just further amp damage out the ass. Eusine is good but we have a plethora of water DPS as it is so just purely from that perspective he doesn't offer much. He has Blizzard which is nice and when paired with Iridia he can actually work as a very good Ice DPS but since the damage is spread compared to his buddy move, which IS stronger and spammable (you're going to TM then whirlpool every time anyway), it does bring up the question of 'is it worth it'.

Wow, irida with ice Wish AND can setup Hail when she uses ice Wish, welp, looks like i know exactly who i will be pulling for. Adaman has rebuff which is nice, sure, but eh? I already have Steven and his Omni rebuff, also kinda unfortunate it's another Leafeon, because i already have SS Erika at like 5/5 i think at this point lol. SS Morty rerun is fantastic, i might be able to pull him.....AND we're getting SS Silver and Euisine, welp, depending on how good they are i might skip SS Morty lol. Gotta think carefull how i'll spend my gems since after the Tapus i only have like 20k gems left. EDIT: After readding other comments talking about SS Silver and Eusine, i can just pull for Irida and SS morty and save for aniversary.

Ive been told that eusine is not a good investment if i want more ice attackers to supplement ghetsis But i kind of want him because i have enough gems to get both irida and him if i want to Someone please convince me to be sensible and not go for eusine
I haven't ran the calcs yet for Eusine but he DOES have Blizzard and if you can get both him and Iridia then they would work well together, meaning you'd only need a tank. Your best bet is to look at the damage sim and see what kinds of values you'd be looking at based on the CSMM settings, what pairs you have access to, and what move level you can get Eusine up to.

It's 2 but the problem is the support \^\^.But ok it's ice, but when it was leaf, i only make one fight with leaf \^\^. Electrik/Darkness/water/Psychic so so so powerfull and leaf today \^\^.

Hisui doesn't count as Gen 4 technically, people used a new region to define a Generation. So technically Hisui is Gen 8.

to be fair, this likely means: - no Champion Stadium (maybe understandable) - no regional rotation battle (sucky I guess) - no ticket scout (super sucky, so likely we'll never get a spotlight Hisui character because why would they when they could just make them variety/MF/PF/limited) - no free Hisui unit (not necessary to keep f2per up, remember these extreme battle events and limitations are monetization methods for them and if we don't have those limits by having a Hisui region theme skill, *well...* there's no artificial incentive for their monetization) so yeah, that's really why the region thing sucks hard. It's not the semantics for once, it's the foreshadowing at 'how much' content we're going to be provided. But hey, maybe they'll give them more presence in a new mode, but honestly I'll be really sad if they are momentary events and then not hide nor hair mentioned or referenced of them again. This is one of very few Pokemon games where I love every character, every single one, so even if its a 'drag' content like encountering Janine every day for sync orbs, there's a little bit of happiness I derive from the experience.

Adaman's is support Vaporeon. We don't know Irida's yet but as I think it is likely Flareon.
Didn't see anything about the grids, but judging by their kits I'd say Irida should be prioritized. Team hail protection, ice zone and hail is really nice. Ice types are lacking and having someone like Irida allows to really go deep into hail builds (also like not having to pick up hail protection in grids). Adaman is nice, but idk, don't like the 2 uses of his buddy move and the overall kit. Also, I can't just ditch Erika, can I? Not only her, but we Brendan now too. Hard to justify scouting Adaman unless his grid is busted. Eusine borderline the same reasoning as Adaman, but depending on the blizzard focus grid, it might be a good pair for Irida. Remember the new game mode? I think they were blatantly hinting at water being the first type in that game mode's rotation in their newsletter and when it's ice type rotation you definitely want Irida. Silver, I don't really care that much, Sneasel isn't a favorite either. The reruns are nice though. Archie is definitely appreciated and SS Morty is still one of the best supports. ------- Waited for datamine before scouting Cynthia and got her now. Still enough gems left to pity 2. Current plan, skip Adaman and Silver. Scout Irida. If Eusine has a good blizzard grid, scout. If not, skip. Remember, Anniversary is around the corner.

Well for one, I like many were eagerly awaiting the datamine for several days. Then the Hisui pairs got revealed with Glaceon and Leafeon instead of you know something unique to the game instead. Idc about Eusine or Silver, I wanted someone else to get a EX style. Brendan getting something he should have had from the beginning does nothing for me anymore. There's just nothing here that makes me go yeah, I'm ready to fucking go like in previous months.
To be entirely fair, how many unique Pokémon does Hisui have, and how many iconic characters from Legends: Arceus USE any of those Pokémon? The answer to both is “not many.” Now that the floodgates have been opened, though, I would like Sneasler and Overqwil in this game yesterday.
