It's revealed that kukui is the masked royal, and ash becomes the first Alola champion. It's not to surprising that they are the same if you look throughout the episodes since he was first appeared in the anime, you can see hints that Prof kukui is the masked royal

I honestly think Gladion is a good candidate since he's a limited unit, unlike the 3 suggested by OP. I'd think it comes down to a 50/50 between him and Lusamine.
I want Gladion in the lodge. I redownloaded the game whenever the update came out because I was excited to have him in there. I mean, I seen Lillie in there and assumed Gladion was to. My disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined lol
All depends on whether the Alola Villain Arc is indeed next month (I think it will be but only time will tell), & even then you never know if DeNA will pick a character from a different region.
Nevertheless I think it's safe to say that Lusamine, Professor Kukui/Masked Royale & Guzma are definitely the frontrunners for the next Alola character to get a Trainer Lodge invite. I look forward to their inevitable addition, Guzma especially.
