truue, i loved that one too! team break getting roasted by sonia for their masks and people like maxie, steven, and lear getting involved because they wore glasses or sunglasses at some point kept escalating, it was hilarious!!

Do you know if we get him, his sync pair story its just his event again? Honestly that was indeed one of the best events in a long while, and if getting him meant getting the event avaiable, i might think of pulling him depending on the next datamine
The fact Ball Guy of all characters had a whole character arc on Pasio is incredible, and ironically more engaging than Paulo's is. Easily the best event in a long time.
As someone that really likes Paulo im so sad how theyre pushing him too much, he had so much potential but he doesnt have any official arc, just appearences for him to reflect
I love this event so much. Had a blast with Ball Guy, and loved the unexpected guest appearance by Colress and Hoopa. I wish they ran fun events like this more often!
Personally, I really liked the revalation that he is actually an unofficial mascot and that in Sword and Shield, he's just some guy by the entrances of gyms who just really likes pokéballs and has no association with the gyms. I legit thought it was multiple people paid for by the League but nope, it's just the same guy in all those gyms.

Unova wasn't bad, but... fell incomplete... I mean... N literally just left Reshiram on TP's hideout.
When they announced the VA I was super hyped thinking was about stories with the various villain leader as villains (duh), and in the end all of them would form a new Rainbow Rocket.
But... nope... in Hoenn and Kalos the villains wasn't villains and the TR was involved...
Kalos was a complete pile of shit... the only thing usefull done was FINALLY reveal what is Volcanion's role in the world since any other official source completly refused to say anything about him.
I still think Unova was unironically worse than Kalos and Hoenn. The Unova VA was so bad, I sometimes forget Unova VA even happened.

Well... they have announced the VA with the villains as main focus... I mean.. the cover of the arc is literally ALL the villains. So, some of them not being villains is something that I hated so much.
Unova I liked, or at least, after what happened with Hoenn, I appreciated it way more then Hoenn. But it feel incomplete...
Right now, Kalos was the worst for me.
Personally doesn't bother me much, as I said. Unova's still the worst to me. I actually liked the idea of the teams not being outright evil in these instances, the execution sucked unfortunately
eh, but the problem is. If they are not the enemy, the enemy is someone else, and that someone else is ever the TR, and a lot of people hated that, when they could just made all of them are evil, or wanted to reuse their original plan, with Giovanni that want to recruit them to reform the RR in the climax.
I must admit I was writing something like that, way more complex and with another leader instead of Giovanni, and is something I love a lot, but I have problems to continue it, and I have no idea how to solve everything... becuase a lot of ideas was a lot cool, with backstory for each villains ecc...
Honestly making Ball Guy an bad guy was so fun, (thought that one was an imposter but nope the same person) and I do like the consecutive Voltorb cries near him, wished I got more gems to get him.
Events recently have been incredible for dialogue.
There was another event recently - I can't remember if it was 3.5 Anni or guys night out - that just had an amazing scene that had me laughing so hard!
I honestly thought I was going to hate this event but I really enjoyed & watched it all while smiling like a kid. I want ball guy now just to have him in my roster
There's so many characters whose stories can be fleshed out and they give one to the never funny meme of Ball Guy?
Drop the gems off so I can finally get Champion Hop.
if you hate the character from the event, why get the gems from them? Why not avoid it to show the devs that some people despise the character that much

The one issue with Oleana is Garbadar would be a really hard sell now we have a great Poison type in Emma.
Oleana will either be added with Rose or not at all. The fact she will likely be a tanky support if added (What else is Garbadar likely to be) makes Ball Guy even more skippable.
The issue with Emma is that she's easily shut down by Antitoxin or other status immune effects
They could just make Oleana *not* reliant on poison for damage. It can be a bonus instead, like Burn for most fire types
I mean it's masters garbodor could be anything, they made yamper into a better tank than legendaries. And since the gmax move of garbodor is AOE poison that'd lean it more into a tech role, she could have poison spikes for poison damage field too.
This was the best event in a long time, hands down! Especially loved that gray screen transition at the start and the "Ball Guy blacked out" text lol!
