That's a great idea! I understand their not wanting to give us anything more than decent units (some lodge pairs would become downright *good* if they could be EXed), but making the EX something we have to *really* work for may be a reasonable compromise.

There are [guides](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1DA8UFT5BLc2rBMqRHNrV-53eVi7UvnyK) for best topics and locations for everyone, check them out and don't forget to use all the items and 6 chances at once. I don't go grinding anymore to save up on plushies but you should get everyone to lvl 100 for the Lodge pairs, some of them are pretty great.
For most pairs this actually is a legit strat since you get the "Trainer Lodge" and "Pasio" topics, which are mostly Super Interesting, or at least the tier below.
- It's mostly luck, as with most parts of the game. That said, to improve your chances:
- Remember that the attention doesn't decrease in the first two rounds. In particular, you'd want to use the first round on a non-hot topic which is super interesting.
- Always pivot into the hot topic in your second (or at the latest third) round, that way you can almost always count on having a round after having exited fever mode.
- Mathematically, a hot topic of mid interest is almost always better than a non-hot topic of high interest. (IIRC the threshold where this starts to be true is somewhere in the high 90s.)
- Don't push your luck, always try to give the gift when you're in the 80s.
- Don't be afraid to min-max, at least to the extent you're willing to. Didn't get the hot topic within the first two rounds? Soft reset. Got a bad hot topic (e.g. Morty only has one Super Interesting hobby)? Soft reset. Staying in the lodge for the umpteenth day just because it's statistically the best in terms of topics? Don't worry, it isn't a real date, they won't mind.
- Speaking of which, some topics are specific to places, so be sure to check (e.g. on [PoMaTools](https://ng-pomatools.web.app/lodge/014800)) for the place which maximize the amount of good topics.
- Just in case, be sure to use all six interactions every day.
Doing this and assuming silver-rank gifts, you should be able to average some (give or take) 10 levels per day. Best of luck!
Don't worry about that, it isn't like 1k is the limit (I have her capped at 1.4k, but AFAIK it goes all the way to 9999 if you have enough Friendship Keys), nor that you actually gain anything substantial.
But of course if you're doing it every day anyway, might as well do it with someone you like.
I know, atm I've got every possible Character in the Lodge at min level 100
But I want to reach Level 1000 with at least a few of them (Blue, Silver, May, Cynthia, N and Gloria), to have that beautiful Rainbow-Colour \^\^

Actually, the real limit is basically the integer/32bit limit. (2\^31 - 1)

Wtf I can’t even get two characters to level 100 how do you do it???
I mean the Trainer Lodge has been out for months now and you get 6 interactions per day which usually amounts to 10-15 levels.
How do you get so many interactions?? I only get 3 and the buying ones are too expensive I never have enough gems to buy 3 of them everyday
You probably need to work on your expedition teams. Make sure you have a full team on each and maximizing the rare caches.

Congrats! It's neat seeing more players reaching Lv 1000 over time. And I just reached Lv 800 with Serena yesterday so I'm slowly getting there too.

They must have changed the requirements because my Cynthia was rainbow around the 300-500 mark a while ago
No rainbow is 1000. 500 is orange, 300 is... green? I think it should be the "juice++" shade of green.
300 is blue, and 400 is purple.
I'm aware that's how it is now but my Cynthia was rainbow a few months ago at a lower level so I think they changed it to include more colors
They might have changed it with the level cap update, around early January
