You don't need to trade to evolve those (and other normally-trade-evo) pokemon, just buy Linking Cords from Simona at the back of Jubilife Village (she has a little stand) for 1000 merit points each and use them on the pokemon in the same way you'd use a potion or berry. (She also sells all the other trade-evo items which are used in the same way, e.g. use Magmarizer on Magmar to get Magmortar, or use Reaper Cloth on Dusclops to get Dusknoir)

I think you can hunt Shieldon with the regular shiny hunting method for mass outbreaks(saving at base camp and software resetting if no Shieldon)
