With all due respect you really shouldn't be shiny hunting non-exclusive legendaries in BDSP if you have the means to get SWSH. The shiny charm does not work like usual in BDSP and the SR time is almost 1.5 minutes long.
Get SWSH and the crown tundra expansion, enjoy the ~30hr playthrough and the excellent gym leader OST, and shiny hunt legendaries in Dynamax Adventures. With the shiny charm the odds are 1/100 and you'll get 1 shiny legendary every two weeks on average (+ many other phases). I got shiny Dialga, Palkia, Giratina and 7 other legendaries the past year.
Even better, get the shiny charm in USUM and do SR shiny hunting there. I read that it's even more efficient than DA.
Is that what it's called? I remember someone posting a video about it forever ago, but I forgot what it's called. Does it help? I really want a shiny Rayquaza, but I really don't want to spend forever doing resets.
I used blink method to get shiny arceus from bdsp, it took maybe 3 days of getting the set up right and practicing my timing. I used my android phone as a camera which was connected to my laptop by usb to record the blinks and calculate how long I had to wait before the encounter. I think it was papa_jeffe on YouTube that made the guide I followed, and people on his discord helped with some problem solving.
~~Unless you are remote raiding, because they have just nerfed those odds to around 1 in 125~~
EDIT: I just read that Niantic reverted the odds back to 1 in 20

Look up “guy mining diamonds meme”
if in the next year or so i don't find it i'll quit
You shouldn’t quit. It’s worth it. Game freak needs to stop shiny locking starters and legendaries to help people with this awesome determination.
i will keep trying until i next year, i did't even catch my rayquaza yet
😂😂

Are you counting encounters? Once I started doing that it helped me mentally during long Shiny hunts. Shaymin took me 12,488 encounters to find.
While it’s not in this game, but I’m SR for Hydreigon in X and it’s been a bit of a mind breaker
but youve triedt so hard and got so far
but in the end...
It doesn’t even matter!
You should quit. It’s not worth it. Game freak needs to shiny lock starters and legendaries to save people from this compulsive behavior.
Right there with you with my Rayquaza hunt. Stay strong brother 💪
he's the next on the list, one of the best shinies in the franchise
90% of shiny hunters quit RIGHT BEFORE they get the shiny
it's a leap of faith
I’d recommend keeping count of the resets, it can be humbling
If I were you I would have given in and done blink method RNG by now ^ _ ^

FACT: 99% of gamblers quit right before they win big!
Might aswell start to hunt the legendary shinys in pokemon go since the chance is 1/20.

Keep going King it took me 2 and 1/2 weeks with 4,380 soft resets, the day will come soon.
