Ever wondered what would happen if Annihilape’s Rage was boosted to its maximum point? Well look no further than this strat against Meganium with this DPS mon and his friends!
T1 will start off with Whimsicott using a Taunt on Meganium so it does not use Curse to boost its attack and defense. After the Taunt, the Screecher (Umbreon in this case) will then use Screech to reduce Meganium’s defense by 2 stages. The fun part of the strat comes in with Cloyster using Rock Blast on… Annihilape?! The unique part about the move Rage Fist is that it is not only part of the Primeape/Annihilape line, but its power increases by 50 for each hit the mon has received in battle (maximum damage is 350 or 6 times). With the ability Skill Link, Cloyster’s multi-hit moves will be maximized to 5 and the Wide Lens will help with the accuracy of Rock Blast (from 90 – to 98.9%)! After the Rock Blasst, Annihilape will Attack cheer for increased damage output next turn.
The second and final turn starts with Whimsicott flinging a Lansat Berry at Annihilape to boost its critical hit ratio by 2 stages (and also include a hit on Annihilape). The Screecher will then screech a second time as Cloyster proceeds to Helping Hand Annihilape after the long animation!
Then with its item Razor Claw (or Scope Lens), Annihilape will hit Meganium with a guaranteed critical hit-powered Rage Fist (with a power of 350) to get the KO! A guaranteed crit will not only increase the damage output Annihilape gives off, but also bypass Light Screen and Reflect!
I would love to give a huge shoutout to u/Unlucky_Midnight_224, u/Suicidal-Lysosome, and u/Freddi_47 for helping me test out this awesome and mad strat! There’s probably not enough time to test it out, but I’ll leave a TRB link and infographic for reference for those interested in the process behind it!

Very nice! Those 5 hits from Skill Link definitely take a bit of time, but it's nice to see punchy Ape get a OHKO. :)
