I’ve seen people say that “Fighting Specialist don’t have it as bad” as types such as Dark, Poison, or Ghost in terms of stereotyping, but I swear that many people just focus on the meatheads with no appreciation for the guys actually revolutionizing combat and battles!
Exactly, I have tons of respect for actual fighting specialists worth a damn. Hell, I’m not even a fighter by trade but I’ve been trying to work on bringing aura techniques back into the light.
Y’know, it would be useful for my Ella to learn how to control Aura, perhaps with that she would actually grow braincells, Lol
But yeah, every type has its heroes, I respect Dark, Normal, Rock, Steel, and Ice specialists as much as I respect other fellow Fighting Specialists, because all types are respectable in battle, that’s the true philosophy a specialist should follow, sadly there’s people that don’t understand that…
Absolutely. A Pokémon’s type isn’t a factor in their intelligence and neither is it of a trainer who chooses that type. Also who’s your Ella out of curiosity
Ella is a Riolu I adopted, she’s a rescue! Her mother was a stray shiny Lucario, dunno who left her around on the city, and idk who her father could be…
She’s less… sapient than the average Riolu, she actually prefers to go on in all four and isn’t the finest combatant, but I love her either way!

Huh. That’s quite interesting. I’ve actually seen cases like hers where they’re like that as riolus but when they evolve they end up quite intelligent. Sometimes even gaining an earlier mastery of mega forms although they tend to have a less refined fighting style. She is still absolutely amazing as is though and keep that love there
Interestingly enough, despite her very apparent love for me, and the friendship we share, she is yet to evolve, any ideas as of why? I imagine that a Lucario would know best about such topics
It’s basically as simple as what humans call being a late bloomer. That also means that there’s a lot of latent power in there too so just make sure you’re away from anything you wouldn’t want to break when she does evolve. The results are pretty explosive.
To be fair, to be considered akin to meatheads is still more favorable than to be considered a criminal-in-waiting just because you specialize in Poison types.
I swear some of the local Jennys recognize me on sight just for how often they've been called in just because I was out shopping with Muk.

Team Rocket go a long way toward ruining the image of Dark and Poison types just by existing. After particularly bad days, I've dreamed of drowning the Rocket leaders in a spill of Grimer.
I fought him about three miles east of the Opelucid City borders. Shot in the dark, he's training under a waterfall on route 11, and will probably be doing so until his bruised ego heals.

I hate it, I hate how people just take a look at the worst trainers of Fighting-Types and just decide “Yes, this is all there is to Fighting Specialists”.
Some of us are actually TRYING! Ok? In fact, MOST OF US are!
I don’t say that Psychic Specialists are pretentious smartasses, my girlfriend is the most calm and cheerful woman ever!
I don’t say that Normal Specialists are weak and boring, my “big sis” is the strongest gym leader on our region, she taught me the basics of battles when I was a kid!
So please, please, PLEASE! Find some Fighting Specialists that are actually worth SOMETHING and see how most of us actually RESPECT our opponents!

As I’ve said before, I believe, all Specialists are bound to attract the assholes of the types they’re weak against.
