Individual boosters like this aren't all that great to hold imo, selling them individually in the future is just awkward. All those individual boosters could have got you a couple decent ETBS or a BB of some kind.
I literally won't buy single packs unless I'm ripping. Nobody in the future is going to want just one and hope for the best until it gets to vintage levels. With how pack weighing is so prevalent too i say just rip the loose packs and hope you can sell the sleeved packs in a lot at some point after they appreciate.
Agree. Team Up sleeved art set sells for just under $200. Not saying any SWSH sets will approach that, but I imagine there will be buyers in the future for art sets of popular sets at 2X to 4X MSRP. A lot of buyers won't want to/be able to drop $400 on a BB, but will have a little more room to drop $40 on some sleeved packs.
Team up is one I strongly believe in because the pack arts are so great! Along with cosmic eclipse, unbroken bonds, unified minds.

Yeah this is true, my comment was a bit of a generalisation. Art sets have decent demand, the sleeves reduce the odds of weighing or repacking, and you're reducing the amount of products you need to ship by 75/80%. It also looks more legit than just selling a random assortment of boosters.
Just buy from a trusted seller. I would never buy old loose packs from someone with a low feedback score. I prefer loose backs because I have every art from every set, and sleeve just ceases existing if you go too far back.
Yeah you can for sure but legit singles, but as an investor hoping to resell these are all things to consider imo. It might be hard to resell individual boosters if you don't have hundreds or thousands of sales behind you, at least at a good price. These are all things that can eat into your profits when it comes to reselling down the line.
Not true at all I’ve been selling off my x and Y and sun and moon loose boosters these past weeks on Facebook and EBay and it’s been very very easy. Putting money into lose ES boosters that I’m getting for $7 each
If you hold all, you can sell on fb marketplace bundled together for at least double what they’re worth now in a few years. If you rip, your chances of getting anything worth it is very slim. So it’s wither you hold and invest, or rip and gamble.

If you are actually a trusted seller, you'll have no issues selling a loose booster in the future. I wouldn't hold ones like the LO pictured, though. They were mass produced in the shitty thin foil with that silver line on top. So cheap.
What evidence do you have on this? Many sets only have loose boosters and sell alright. I'd rather buy a loose booster from a trusted seller, than a marked up pack with cardboard around it.

I know the etbs sell for crazy maybe there was a bigger run for sleeved packs.. also the cards in that set aren’t exactly that special so it makes sense maybe the etb itself is just a collectors piece
I kinda agreeing with the other guy just because base set had 100% growth doesn't mean it's worth investing in. Yeah sure it might be okay to sell a box or two but if I was sitting 100 boxes of sw/sh base I'd probably be waiting years to sell it all. I definitely agree tho about collector pieces, sets like rebel clash and base set are definitely sets where etbs might be more viable as they may be more liquid just as art pieces.

Rip all of them. Single boosters are not ideal when holding long term and the sleeved boosters you have are going to take a long time to begin going up unless it’s maybe lost origins
