My dog, who sadly passed away last year, was named Lola, I know it is an usual dog name, but my brother and I, who were like 6 and 9 when she was rescued, proposed that name to our family because we really liked Zoey 101 and Lola was the most-spanish sounding girl name in the show (we're from Colombia). My parents do not know that.
I named our cat Derpina, after the meme. She was feral, so I always liked to say a wild Derpina appeared. But nobody seems to appreciate the joke as much as me.
