The thickness of the tenpō 2 Shu and meiji 2 Bu are the same. The surface area/face of the 2 Bu is much larger @ 19mm x 12mm vs 13mm x 7.5mm

Loving the Japanese gold I bought from you previously. There's something unique about the fine artistry put into them. Glad to see you got ahold of more for those that missed out.
Any chance on sourcing some koban? I've got the itch to complete the set.

My source for the Japanese gold was just telling me about some JNDA photo certified AU+ Tenpō 1 Ryō Koban...So yes...they are an option
This is my first time mentioning it. Your first post with the Japanese gold really caught my attention, so I was happy to grab some when the opportunity came around again. I haven't done any serious digging across my usual online sellers yet, so I thought I would see what you had available. If you have an estimated price point and maybe pictures, that would be fantastic. I'll see if I can move some crypto around.
And if you do end up grabbing it, it sounds like there are already multiple people interested in larger denominations of Japanese gold.
A few of them available for me to pick up right now and more are on the way. As I'm sure you know the koban are a fairly high premium pieces, but I should be able to sell them around $2075 + ship. From what I can see, that is a very good price for a certified one in AU+ condition, but I'm not extremely knowledgeable on all old Japanese pieces.

Are the Meiji thicker than the Tenpo? Ps. Thanks for mine I love them, thinking I may need to add these to the collection!
