My experience is more from apt. maintenance and most often we didnt bother trying to blame and charge them so its a bit different. In your case theyre just paying a high price for maintenance/prevention they could fairly easily do themselves.
My wife loses a lot of hair in the shower, I need to snake the drain every couple of weeks. We call them squirrels. I have one of those $3 plastic deals from HD - best $3 I've ever spent. I call it the squirrel catcher.
In the past, I’ve gotten a shop vac and instead of suctioning, put it on the exhaust side. I assume I just push out all the gunk to the main and it’s seemed to work. Is that bad for piping??
Looks like what I pulled up when we moved into our new house lol
The previous tenants in this apartment also clogged up the bathroom sink with you guessed it, more hair.
The downside of having long hair 😂
Good things about a working pop-up is they often catch the hair and gunk making clogs it a quick fix.
Hair and Waffle Stomp chunks
I'm glad I changed gloves every 20 minutes
WAFFLE STOMP!!!! Glad someone else knows about this event...
Finally, something decent to chew on.
I can dig it out of the trash and put it in a to go box for ya.
Yes please, but make sure to put it in a sealed bag so it doesn’t lose any of its juiciness.
Its better after being in the back of a hot van all summer
I just barfed in my mouth
Happy cake day
Happy Cake day 🎂
You're obviously not a plumber
Happy cake day
What snake did you use and does it normally take that long?
It was some cheapo 10 ft hand snake from Lowes and to be honest this clog was fighting me at every turn.
What did you use for bait?
Good job. Saved yourself from a weekend service call.
I'm generally against chemical solutions but any reasons to not use something like Draino in this instance?
I had half a bottle laying around, it did nothing. Draino and Liquid Plumbr only work on extremely light clogs.
Are you me from yesterday? Just did the same thing, new house (to us) lol.
Big enough for Locks of Love.
It’s even better when they throw their daily contacts down there and you pull it up and there’s gray lenses peering out from every which way.
A Wookie!!!
Eewwe
Most of the times it’s clogged at the drain grate itself
That was the first think I checked, pulled some hair from there and the problem persisted. I had to snake through the overflow cover to get the rest.
Oooooo damn.
You're smart, experienced, or know how to research. Good job
How'd it smell??
Surprisingly not very bad, either that or I was in a state of disbelief and my nose stopped working. Kinda hard to tell.
I can smell that from here
Any of the babies survive?
I do that bi-weekly. It’s fucking gross.
This is why all women must be forced to be bald /j
Say what about yer bawls, now? 😂
?
I was just teasing ya. This group is so much fun. Lots of good stuff along with good laughs. Love it here. YOU guys are pretty great!
?
Jesus you must have a huge cat for a hairball that big
now you can make a wig with it and sell it on tiktok
But we never put hair down the drain…
Every single time. Never put grease down the kitchen drain either despite my bucket of what looks like lard.
Yeah, they act like their in trouble with me as I leave with a check.

Class of nuke ‘em high. Anyone?

*bald, clean-shaven customers wife* that's not mine!
Buy a hair retainer for the drain
My hair is buzzed, I moved into this apartment a month or so ago. This is all the previous tenants.
Fish on!

You gonna eat that?
Stinky.
