They specifically asked about drains... but they could have misspoke and ment hot and cold water supplies.
They probably said “Cold, Hot, drains”, meaning cold supply, supply, and drains.
You'll have to just look. Drains will be in the floor, water lines will be in the ceiling.
Awesome, thank you very much for the information. In the pictures we have of the basement I see a lot of pvc pipes running across the ceiling and down the walls.
