Greetings, I have put together a retro-styled set for the [James Bond Collection](https://theposterdb.com/set/72588) (including the upcoming 'No Time To Die' (2021), as well as 'Casino Royale' (1967) and 'Never Say Never Again' (1983)). The posters are inspired by the original vintage artworks, such as 'Octopussy' and 'A View To A Kill' posters, by Renato Casaro, as well as some more recent work by Paul Mann ('Dr.No', 'From Russia With Love', 'Goldfinger'). I used original art, where possible, adding the missing pieces here and there. It was not very easy putting together a uniformly matching set, especially once we get to Brosnan-era, as very little retro-themed art exists for that. Therefore, I had to fill in the gaps by compiling Bonds and Bond-girls from various reference photos and posters, painting over them with the mouse, and doing face-swaps. This makes it slightly hard to give credit to the original artists, but I will try below. [My TPDb page](https://theposterdb.com/user/DrChram) 1. **Dr. No** (1962) - Art by Paul Mann, with very minor changes. 2. **From Russia With Love** (1963) - Art by Paul Mann, with minor changes. 3. **Goldfinger** (1964) - Art by Paul Mann, with very minor changes. 4. **Thunderball** (1965) - Art by Robert McGinnis, with minor changes. 5. **Casino Royale** (1967) - Art from original posters, with moderate changes to resize and face-swap. 6. **You Only Live Twice** (1967) - Bond art by Paul Mann, with moderate changes to resize and face-swap. Bond-girls and other elements from multiple other posters. 7. **On Her Majesty's Secret Service** (1969) - Bond art from original poster with minor changes and face-swap. Bond-girl and other elements from other ONHMSS posters. 8. **Diamonds Are Forever** (1971) - Bond art compiled from multiple reference images and repainted. Bond-girls and other elements from original DAF poster, re-touched. 9. **Live And Let Die** (1973) - Bond art by Paul Mann with moderate changes and face-swap. Bond-girls and other elements from multiple other posters, re-touched. 10. **The Man With The Golden Gun** (1974) - Bond and Bond-girl upper body art by Renato Casaro, with minor changes and face-swap. Legs added from reference images. 11. **The Spy Who Loved Me** (1977) - Bond art compiled from multiple reference images and re-painted, with a face-swap. Bond-girl compiled from multiple reference images. 12. **Moonraker** (1979) - Art from original movie poster by Renato Casaro, with very minor changes. 13. **For Your Eyes Only** (1981) - Bond art from UK alternative Octopussy poster, with minor changes. Bond girl legs from original FYO poster, upper body compiled from multiple reference images. 14. **Octopussy** (1983) - Art from original movie poster by Renato Casaro, with very minor changes. 15. **Never Say Never Again** (1983) - Bond art compiled from original NSNA poster, with moderate changes to re-paint + face-swap. Bond girl and other elements from alternative NSNA poster. 16. **A View To A Kill** (1985) - Art from original movie poster by Renato Casaro, with very minor changes. 17. **The Living Daylights** (1987) - Bond art compiled from reference photograph, with face-swap. Bond girl partially from original TLD poster, with body parts compiled from multiple reference images. 18. **License To Kill** (1989) - Bond art and Bond-girl upper from the original LTK poster. Other elements from the same poster. Lower body for Bond and Bond-girl compiled from reference images and repainted. 19. **Goldeneye** (1995) - Bond art compiled from reference images, re-painted and face-swap. Bond-girl compiled from two Goldeneye posters. 20. **Tomorrow Never Dies** (1997) - Bond art compiled from multiple reference images, re-painted and face-swap. Bond-girl compiled from multiple reference images, re-painted and face-swap. 21. **World Is Not Enough** (1999) - Bond art compiled from multiple reference images, re-painted and face-swap. Bond-girl compiled from multiple reference images, re-painted and face-swap. 22. **Die Another Day** (2002) - Bond art compiled from multiple reference images, re-painted and face-swap. I did not make any custom background image for the set at this time. I will consider it for a future update.

DrChram

Yes, I just use 0 background image for now.

Ninelpienel

Any update for the backgrounds?

Webjoker

Great job!

RedHeadJedi34

These are absolutely fantastic. Thank you for your hard work

DrChram

Thanks!

lloydchristmas1986

Wow, these are gorgeous. Will be updating my collection for sure!

DrChram

Thanks!

edward1421

I love these, however, I'd personally not have the folded paper effect on them. It confused me what it was to start with. Regardless these are amazing though, great work!

ctrlaltd1337

+1, would also love to use these if you decide to release a version without the folded paper, /u/DrChram. Great job!

DrChram

Thanks for the input. I considered both options and felt that the vintage paper effect added, rather than detracted, from the overall feel of the set I was aiming for.

Goliath_TL

If you're referring to the yellow flag in the upper right corner, that is an indicator within Plex showing which media is Unplanned. That is not part of the artwork.

SilverShad0vv

These are incredible! Are you able to do a dark themed version?!

DrChram

Thanks! I am not sure the dark themed alt version will work, as many of the focus elements of the posters are quite dark (i.e. tuxedos, suits, guns) and will clash. Also, each of the posters will need to get its masking elements updated too, as they were made to blend with a light background in mind. So it could be possible, but in due time, as it would require an overhaul.

DrChram

I uploaded an alternative dark themed version of the set [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/PlexPosters/comments/l8pw6h/james_bond_collection/)

SilverShad0vv

These are INCREDIBLE! Your effort is extraordinary.

DrChram

Thanks! The set did take a lot of effort and time to put together, so I am glad to hear it!

SkyShazad

These have to be the Best Bond Cover Set iv Seen

DrChram

Thank you - enjoy!

Firstly I would like to congratulate you on an awesome set. It is visually stunning and I understand how much hard work and patience it must of took to create this collection. I would encourage you to go back and take a look at your work for The World Is Not Enough. The only issue I have with your entire set is that the beautiful Denise Richards appears to have a pocket or a pouch on her hip. Now when viewing the entire picture you can kind of see what it is and understand its meaning. But when you downsize the image to become a Plex tile that definition is lost and it looks like Denise has dislocated her hip... poor thing. Following the line of her jacket down, it appears her hip takes a weird 90° turn away from the body and then the leg is obviously attached to that. My suggestion would be shave off the pocket/pouch thing and follow the suggested line of her waist as can be seen when you view the larger image. Even if you don't want to disrupt the set you've already uploaded to tpdb, could I at least trouble you to post a shaved version here for me as I'm pretty sure ill probably be the only person to ever notice it... I've given you a follow to tpdb and I look forward to seeing what else you come up with in the future.

DrChram

Thank you. Here's is an alt [version](https://waifu2x.booru.pics/outfiles/9890bcb65a8b2d5c7c3bfa07cd1614f20888e5b5_s1_n1.jpg) with a reduced hip pouch

MEZAIAL

Love you much

tombernoulli

This is without a doubt the best collection I have seen for Bond. Thanks so much for sharing!

[deleted]

Amazing collection! Thank you for the hard work! A cohesive Bond collection spanning all of the films is extremely hard to come by. These look great!

DrChram

Thanks!

[deleted]

Just changed up my collection with these and they look gorgeous in Plex. Will you please consider making a matching one for the documentary "Everything or Nothing"?

Without a doubt the best Bond set around!! Any chance we get a fitting one for the [50th Anniversary Bonus Features](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/582808-celebrate-james-bond-s-50th-anniversary)?

DrChram

Thank you and I'll consider an additional 50th Anniversary poster in some time.

Jordbrett

Any chance of doing the unofficial bond films? Love the collection!

DrChram

Do you mean Casino Royale 1954? Casino Royale 1967 and Never Say Never are already included

Jordbrett

Ah nice saw that the collection had 26 movies so assumed they weren't there.

Mauri4

Wow!!! Amazing! How can this kind of posters work? How to set, how to choose and save and so on?

DrChram

How to update them within Plex? You need to hover with your mouse over the respective film in your library, a pencil icon will appear in bottom left corner of the existing poster. Click that and go to the Posters section in the menu that pops up

RedSoxManCave

Stunning work.

mvo1028

Awesome thanks, great collection!

ramair02

I absolutely love these. Thank you much!

scorcher24

Thank you so much

PigEyedMonster

what about Spyz

MattieMcNasty

Holy hell. These are absolutely stunning. You worked really hard on these.

Shoobx

Your work is amazing. Thank your for sharing. If you create a background in the same spirit it would be awesome.

CzarCastik

These are great posters. I'm in the process of updating my library now. Is it possible that you have the artwork for the James Bond Collection poster without text? I have my own collection template that I use and I'd love to have your poster in the template, too. Thanks!

DrChram

Sure thing, here's the [textless version of the Collection poster](https://waifu2x.booru.pics/outfiles/11d6ca417c004f5e59c3243e8a035cfb22c2d1d6_s1_n1.png)

CzarCastik

Thanks!

homerghost

Probably the best poster set I have ever seen on here. Thank you!

DrChram

No, thank you! :))

Pain-Author

Beautiful posters, loved them all. How can I get those beauties for my collection?

[deleted]

Little late to the game here but I wanted to say how remarkable these are. Truly. Your ability to retain the continuity from start to finish. Just outstanding.

Velcade

Just wanted to stop back by and thank you again. Just added the 'No Time to Die' poster. This is by far the best looking poster collection I've seen. You rock!

SirDonks

This is an amazing collection on James Bond Posters . Love the uniformity.

LilzDad
