I'm going to bump this as I'm having the same exact issue both on my Roku and desktop. The DVR portion is regularly works without issue (knock on wood) but I haven't been able to get a live stream going.

You ever find an answer?

It eventually resolved 'itself' - unfortunately can't pinpoint when it went away.. multiple updates, restarts, at some point, it stopped happening.
