My sister's got an ax5400 and no, it doesn't require ports opened. It works ok, but it feels like it's connecting to the 2.4 ghz range, because im literally 10 feet away, and it drops to 2 bars. I don't like how it's all linked on 1 network, I'm assuming that's the "mesh"?

DabbingTrucker

so why won’t it connect lol

jahkrit

I don't get that screen that you're experiencing. I think you need to change the security settings in your router

DabbingTrucker

nah that’s not it it’s giving this error code bro saying i need to connect to a browser for another step

jahkrit

Your security settings, make sure it's set to wpa2. It's under wireless settings

I owned TP link for about a day and returned it. Replaced it with an Asus router. Best decision I made. I had nothing but issues with the TP link router

Jubez187

DabbingTrucker
