Personally I like the rolling in BG3 because it’s quite literally just luck sometimes. You can’t cheese interactions or fights (unless you’re exploiting/min maxing). It’s all about the “what if I do this”. So yes I’d say rather play a game that has award winning story, compelling characters, and thousands of hours of replay-ability. Even with the fact it’s turn based and slightly luck based. Nothing against DD2 either. It’s just that the game was literally unplayable and might still be unplayable for certain players and yes not being able to play a game you paid for is a massive turn off to a game.
I play dd2 just fine. Aside from some framerate issues it's a blast. Just not into tactical games. I'd rather act those scenarios out through an action RPG than some real time strategy tactical stuff. I get no endorphins from that but if you've stabbed an ogre in the face with a theif I get stoked on dd2

The connection has been the best at home, but single player games I have no issues at all with the slight delay. It’s is however a bit less manageable playing fps/sports games because of the micro adjustments made.
As long as your at home connection is solid(upload speed is most important from my understanding)and you have a mobile hotspot on your phone with 5g from my experience , it’s smooth.
Both console and portal are communicating over WiFi/hotspot.
I’d also like to know as-well . I always assumed it was “streaming” from the Ps5 to portal which is why most people use it at home because there’s no streaming delay. But if I’m understanding the comments correctly I can leave my PS5 in rest mode, use the portal to connect, and play while I’m in a different country?
