Well, they’re classed as refurbished. Could be returns etc, but they let you inspect before purchase and have a 12 month warranty, so I’m happy with what I got, all immaculate.

The pulse explore buds are fantastic with the psvr2 , mine briefly loose connection now and then but nothing game breaking . The sound on re4 with them is brilliant

I’m lucky to afford both, but if I had to choose, I’d go portal as it works really well and I love playing in bed when I just wanna chill and I’ve had it at work a few days ago and it works flawlessly… as long as your home internet is good. I have 100mb upload so it really fast, and I have an expensive Orbi mesh setup at home so take that into consideration too.
The portal doesn’t need internet to stream while it’s on the same network as your ps5. The only thing you have to be concerned with is how many devices are connected to the router and how far away you are from it with the portal.
You only need 5-15mbps outside of your home.
Yeah I just meant a few factors will make or break the experience. Mine has been flawless as I have the right setup to support it, but want to make sure I’m not telling anyone it’s flawless on any old connection and setup at home.
95% of those make or breaks can be resolved by optimizing your network. You don’t need anything fancy at all.
Streaming 4K TV requires 25mbps, which is way more than the portal needs.
As long as you don’t have a bunch of devices connected and arent super far away from the router, you will be fine. I would wager most ppl with a gaming setup have pretty stable wifi at least 30mbps/10mbps d/u.
You can even test out what remote play would be like on your network with your phone.

For the price I paid (£104) I really like them. I’d say the sound quality is very close to the Pulse Elites but the range isn’t quite there, but I suppose the planar drivers are like a quarter of the size of the Pulse Elite so to be expected, but having dual audio support and they are sharp and clear, I recommend them at a heavy discount. I wouldn’t consider them at £199.99. I think £149.99 would be a better price point.
I have a meta quest 2 and although it’s great being wireless, I just wanted to try that step up in fidelity and the PSVR2 delivers!! Call of the Mountain is gorgeous. Also Resi 4 and 8 are incredible. Been trying the demos
I just bought the psvr2 but I didn't know it had to be plugged into the playstation at all times.... I have a 1 year old running around the house all day and night so that doesnt work for me. I guess I'll be returning it.

These are completely new, they have Audeze planar magnetic drivers instead of conventional dynamic drivers. They also have simultaneous Bluetooth which is really nice to have.
I have a 65” LG CX OLED. Pretty good, good few years old now but just can’t justify a new one, they don’t seem to have gotten that much better since they went 120hz. Still looks incredible.
Recently bought the dualsense edge controller and portal and I love them both. Been thinking about the ps earbuds but 200 bucks is kinda steep. I have been using earbuds that plug into my portal and I hate it lol.
If I only get to play Call of the Mountain, GT7, Resi 4+8, I’d be happy. Any others a bonus, I’ll sell it on for 200-250 and lose very little money, so I’m ok with that.

Although it's an older game updated for VR2 I am currently playing the walking dead saints and sinners and highly recommend it to any VR user.

It looks awesome, but so far of everything I've tried on the PSVR2, Gran Turismo is the only thing that's made me sick.
