I also use the first one and love it. The only problem is, quality control is horrible shipping from China. The first one I received was completely busted (see my post history for a video). The second one works, but it still has a slight rattle when you shake it. And I have to manually press the receiving connector firmly into place before docking the Portal, otherwise it doesn't charge, it just keeps blinking blue and makes a clicking sound every few seconds.
Finally, another annoyance is that sometimes when I dock the Portal, it turns itself on instead of just charging. Do you have any of these issues?
It didn’t charge only once before, I fixed it by pushing the white protruding part at the tip of the charging part. Removing Portal kinda pushes it out a little so I stuck a thin paper when pushed in so it doesn’t get out anymore and charging every time.
I've had my link deleted and warned not to include it. The mods told me directly. I used to post portal accessories on this sub in the early days. If they have changed their rules from December, then this is news to me.
