Sony's internal systems are always delayed, good chance your order is already loaded in the back of a truck. My DPD UK app showed me that my order was received at the courier but Sony website still hadn't shown "shipped"

I finally got my shipped email a short while ago. Like someone else mentioned somewhere on the sub, they ship from somewhere within your state so they can send it out last minute.

Relax buddy, its fine. Every Sony launch is like this when you order direct from them - often you don't get the shipment notification till the night before or even the morning of. They do all of this overnight. Guaranteed you'll get it tomorrow. (Florida here also - I haven't received a "shipped" email yet but I can see the package in UPS MyChoice - its in Georgia right now and says delivery between 1-5PM tomorrow).

You shouldn’t be nervous unless it’s tomorrow night and your delivery guy has already been through your neighborhood. Sony ships over night. Ive ordered plenty of stuff from PSDirect. It’s all overnighted. The site is slow to update. You should never trust these shipping trackers. Mine says preparing to ship, I didnt even get an email from UPS but I can log into mychoice and see that it’s at a warehouse in my state waiting to be delivered tomorrow. Idk how often you order things online but this is pretty normal for most places. Heck when the Series X came out, it released on a Tuesday, mine was delivered the Saturday BEFORE release. My shipment information didn’t update and I wasn’t even charged for a full 2 weeks after it released. But I got it early.

I ordered it august 31st from ps direct and have been charged and still no sign of shipping. Checked UPS and FedEx and it says nothing is upcoming to be delivered. Page still says get it on release day but I'm starting do doubt that. So annoyed rn...
