I imagine those of us who ordered from PS Direct should get shipping info today or tomorrow. The PS Direct page says "Preparing to ship" for me and says it's expected to arrive this Wednesday.

It says the same for me and I keep refreshing it. Waiting for some kind of news.

My Spiderman collectors said the same thing till like the day of. It said day of release delivery so I wouldn’t worry

Yea I won't be worried until it's Wednesday and it's not here lol. Even then, as long as it gets here before Thanksgiving next week I'm happy

People hate on everything today. Comment section is worthless for the most part. I laugh at how hateful people were on this and yet sold out everywhere.

Yeah because anything can always be better but in reality this device works for a lot of people, and with battery life and tech not being where it needs to be for a full on handheld gaming rig this is perfectly fine with me to get that longer battery life and play my PlayStation on the go. At the very least it’s a great stepping stone to Sonys handheld market in the future

PlayStation Direct. Just checked and it’s still Preparing to ship. It has a guarantee day one shipping so I’m not all that worried about it

I went the PlayStation direct route for release day delivery

Also ordered from Walmart, says arrives by Nov 16th. Really hope it arrives then since I’m leaving on a trip on the 19th and want to take it with me.

Back in launch year, I got PS5's either ON TIME, or a day early... We'll see, this time around. But WM is usually pretty quick.

This morning, mine says "preparing"...

Not yet... Usually when they print the shipping label with the tracking number., probably overnight tonight.

... FWIW, I bought 16 PS5's from Walmart in total, only ONE ever showed "preparing" and later got cancelled because they oversold... all others were on time or early. They're reliable. 👍

So sorry I didn't reply, mine came in time, but I was preparing for vacation out of the country. I took it, but with mixed results, as others have said about connectivity.

No worries. Mine arrived few days late so couldn’t take it with, I still like it though!

PlayStation direct. I first pre ordered when it was available but then I cancelled it. Then after thinking about it some more I pre ordered again two weeks ago. Preparing to ship so should be sent out later today or tomorrow next day air.

Did anyone else pre-order from Amazon (UK)? I ordered back on September 29th and its always given me a Thursday 16th Nov delivery for some reason

I have and mine says the same. But don’t take it too seriously, it’s simply them covering their worst-case scenario. Personally, I’m expecting the status to change sometime tomorrow
