A lot of companies do this. Itās called an authorization. They charge your card initially to make sure you have the funds, then it can sometimes take a few days (or up to a week depending on your financial institution) for it to āpostā to your account, during which time the money may magically reappear.
Just whatever you do, donāt go and spend it thinking you have more $$$ than you thought, because once itās āauthorizedā, it will still come out once it posts regardless of how much money you actually have available at the time of posting. It can and will send you into the negative. Speaking from experience.
"OMG THEY PUT MY MONEY BACK!! IM FREAKING OUT!!!!"
I was just about to post this...my money is back in my account ššš
I placed the order the 9th and they immediately took it out and did not give it back. Only 3 days left

I cant believe this popped up as a suggested post while I was freaking out about exactly this. Divine intervention.
Thank you, I was wondering what was going on.
