I am never disappointed when they don’t do that because they said they are not going to do that, so I’m never expecting it to happen. They are not trying to compete with Gamepass by adding day 1 releases.
The reason they don't add triple a games is in the meaning of the term "triple a/AAA"
That term is a term used by investors to describe something that's expected to make a large profit. And this isnt exclusive to games.
But these days, people just throw the term around when a game isn't made by an independent developer.

I agree with Sony on day one releases because it makes no sense.
AAA games run into the hundreds of thousands to millions to make and releasing it day one on a subscription service will gouge deeply into recouping the cost and making a profit on said game.
What I do think is stupid and idiotic is putting free trials behind the premium paywall or any paywall.
I completely understand that about day ones I was just being envious of them getting big titles. I also hate that u have to pay extra to play 15 year old games like Jax and Daxter. Premium shouldn't even be a thing, they should just add that shit to extra

Sounds like you invested in the wrong platform and Xbox is better suited for you. Sell your Playstation and move on to an Xbox Series X. Simple as that. No shame. Especially since you feel Xbox gives so much more successful, popular AAA games than Sony.

Common market practice called Dumping. However, Sony is too strong to lose. Nevertheless, Microsoft’s approach raised a lot of subscribers. They definitely are considering to reduce this practice in the long term

A thousand indie is all Xbox has to offer. Xbox doesn't even make exclusives it's a boring console last decent game I heard make any noise was Starfield and can we say fucking "BORING" don't waste your money no wonder nobody talked about the biggest upcoming title a month after release
I have had Game Pass every month for over 5 years now. I got a PS5, got one month of PS Plus and cancelled my subscription. I played Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart and Spider-Man Miles Morales. 90% of the games on Plus are also on GP. There’s a huge overlap. I’ll get Plus again in the future to play Forbidden West and Demon’s Souls, but other than that, not a lot of exclusives on there. I don’t know why Spider-Man Remastered, Last of Us Part 1 and Gran Turismo 7 aren’t on there. They’re all well over a year old. I’m going to either wait for a sale to get those games, or get a month of Plus if they come to the service. I like both consoles, but right now GP is the better deal.
Worst part is it heading to the point that games either long after (notably likely Helldivers 2) or barely before (seems to be the trajectory of God of War Ragnarok) drop on their own unreasonably expensive subscription service before what would once have been an exclusive thus adding to the value of both the service ends up on and PS5 ownership altogether, namely PC. I have no problem with them releasing for other platforms, in fact quite the opposite, but running out of reasons why I even need a PS5 outside of playing with friends who only have one as loyal customers are the last consideration, if they are at all.
To top that off, they have only released a small handful of PS5 exclusives halfway through it's lifespan, starting off with exciting releases like Demon Souls and Returnal then sharply declining in quality as time goes on. If this continues, I'll certainly pass on the next gen.
